My first harvest of lemon balm

It won't make much tea, but it was necessary to pull the big leaves off the vine for smaller ones to grow.

My chrysanthemums are doing well, too!

That's a pathetic harvest of leaves. Do you at lest have spare seeds?

I have not purchased seeds for many of my plants. Clients, coworkers, and friends have provided much of my garden

I just drive to the 'county side' (suburbia) and steal seeds from other people's garden :marseyderp:

Lmaooo in my city, unfortunately most seed sites are protected by huge fines. And i know the countryside well enough to mess with the system, but our police are well funded and i suspect our narcs are, too

Really? :marseyshook: I literally just walked up to a garden with cool plants (like love-in-a-mist for example) and collected seeds and no one ever said anything. I love my country :marseyflagromanialove::marseyflagromanialove::marseyflagromanialove: Feds don't care and private individuals will help you at any point, even without any favors/bribes

If you can grow them back/harvest more it's ok, you can start from a small harvest. But if you need to replant the plants and wait for them to grow all over again maybe you should shift to a more hardy plant :marseyshrug:

The chrysanthemum looks good tho, they are surprisingly hardy once you understand what they need (and protect them from worms, horrible little shits :marseydisgust: )

I dunno, I was given my first starter plant for the lemon balm I believe two years ago by a client? Its effects on my relaxation are extremely noticeable and I like being self-sufficient when possible. I need all the free downers I can get since I'm a nervous mess.

I love mums. If you've read The Chrysanthemums (I'm not sure but I'm guessing it was by Steinbeck? I feel like I'm wrong somehow, sorry, I love his work, it lives rent free!), you may have a better appreciation for what they can represent in feminist literature. They were a throwaway that i rescued :marseyplant:
