Why do people here .. ?
You show people a way they can save a lot of money eating out (apps, save 50% or more)
So they lecture you that instead of eating out you should spend hours shopping and making everything from scratch like you're some kind of a farm family Like, some of us don't like to eat out or do it for convenience?
Or, why do people eat out when poor people can't afford it? How about this: you might be too poor but some of us like to if that's okay with you!!
They do that to steal your data! Like, using credit cards or loyalty retail cards or when they have your email or phone number, They don't also get your data?

Even when you're living out of your car, you can get a basic hot plate for the price of one doordash and cook a few simple things on it.
If you're homeless you have no business ordering anything. Get your butt to the soup kitchen and save until you are not homeless.
All just excuses to be lazy.
I can't believe people are actually backing up this r-slur https://old.reddit.com/r/poor/comments/1b7hfr7/why_do_people_here/ktiz2hh/?context=8#thing_t1_ktiz2hh

I was homeless and ate out all the time it was painful but was 100% my fault and decision making plus i "made enough money" to justify it.
You could get a camp stove and make mac and cheese or a fridge for sandwiches or eat cans of ravioli

My college roommate who's graduating to a 180k entry level dev orders doordash on a daily basis. That's the point at which someone makes enough money to doordash for themselves all the time. It's unreal that the same thing is done by poors

I would doordash occasionally if i was stuck at a shipper for three or more hours with no way to leave

Yep, and you can get free groceries if you live near a church that hands those out. Even if that's not the case, you can always buy cheap ramen and water and subsist off that until you get a source of income (or food stamps).

My dorm's kitchen was on the second floor (I lived on the first) so I never used it. I just made things with my dorm room microwave.
