What yall think about tipping

Think of tipping as the server is working for you. If you feel that you were served well (not 'my steak was overdone", or "this is too spicy"...that's the kitchen's fault...send that crap back and make them fix you something new), then you tip them well. If they're rude, stink, don't keep your drinks filled, or don't come by to check on you from time to time, then tip them poorly....they are literally your personal food indentured servant for the time your butt is in that seat.

And BTW, waiters' base pay is LESS than minimum wage in 90% of the restaurants.

Heck, go sell new cars...your base pay is laughable, but you get a commission on what you sell. When I sold for Porsche, my base weekly pay was $215.00 (this was just 5 years ago), but I never made less than $8,000 a month with the commissions added.
