Real question: If a shitbull comes at you or someone else, how would you handle it? I'm always worried about what it could do to my cat whenever I spot one.
If a dog has a tensed body, stiff tail, pulled back ears, flicking tongue or an intense stare, it may bite. If in a situation with an aggressive dog, back away and do not turn and run because the dog's natural instinct is to chase.
Tips for surviving a dog attack
Resist the impulse to scream and run away.
Remain motionless, hands at your sides, and avoid eye contact with the dog.
Once the dog loses interest in you, slowly back away until it is out of sight.
If the dog does attack, "feed" it your jacket, purse, bicycle or anything you can put between yourself and the dog.
If you fall or are knocked to the ground, curl into a ball with your hands over your ears and remain motionless. Try not to scream or roll around.
I was always under the impression you are supposed to punch them in the nose / poke out their eyes. But maybe that's for sharks idk. Good luck staying silent / not moving when a pibble has it's jaws locked onto your neck and is ragdolling you though. That seems like horrible fricking advice. "cover your ears" lol.
Nice info! Did you see that video of that guy who fell to the ground and put his cute little shitzu looking dog under him and protected it from two pitbulls? Amazing vidya and he saved his dog doing it. The pits were biting at his head though and trying to get to his dog so I assume he was pretty messed up.
Is your cat declawed and mentally handicapped or something? Pretty sure my cat would slash the frick out of a pitbull and is way quicker / smarter / more agile. My cat is an outdoor murder machine though fwiw.

My cat's only like two years old. I'm always worried about him. Any pit can fully tear up grown cats and even dogs, so there is no way my cat has any chance. I just don't want to lose the only thing that's important in my life.

I use a harness when I take him outside. It's not him; it's the pits that are unpredictable with their r-slurred owners. Some don't even keep their shitbulls on a leash, so there's no telling when they could bite. I've seen pit bulls hunt in packs, looking for something to bite. I'm just cautious.
I am going to try not to get attached, because my goal is to help out many dogs instead of just one. I've considered volunteering at a shelter and I'm not sure I can handle seeing what humans do to animals. We had someone set a dog on fire recently, and the rescue was able to pay for skin graphs and all the stuff necessary for rehabilitation but the thought that someone could set a dog on fire absolutely kills my soul.
They are easing me in, so they gave me a 1.5 year old dog with no health problems. He needs better potty training, so I have to work with him there but otherwise he's super sweet and just hangs out with me and plays with my dog. He will get adopted easily.
Jfc. A few years ago some junkie actually r*ped a stray dog where I live. I took her to a vet but they eventually had to put her down for unrelated health problems (CDV + cancer)

That's so awesome! I walk shitbulls at a local shelter. Are you going to get attached and keep it?

I'm unironically afraid of them too when I'm walking my dog. It's always god darn pitbull owners who don't leash their darn dog.

Is your cat outside unattended often? Or are you like walking it on a leash or somethin?

Mostly the loose pit bulls hunting in packs. It's something I've only ever seen in those places.
