I'm in the northeast on vacation and went there for two days to look for rugs and furniture. Bought 2 antique rugs and saw some cool mid century furniture pieces. Saw Nick Rochefort biking around buying shit like a crackhead.
Soumak, caucasian origin, probably late 19th century. Little scuffs in the pattern and some fading, but nothing that bad.
Belouch tribal rug, east iran/west afghanistan, 1890-1900. Good condition, some minor scuffs on the fringes.
Anyone else into antiques?
