emoji hate is the new anti-txt spk

When I started using the internet, normal ppl wud tlk lik dis but nerds on websites would type as if they were being graded by their English teacher. I remember this one forum I was on people refused even to say lol and would type out stuff like 'that's funny, laugh out loud'.

But when everyone got a smartphone they'd all use the word predict thing and then txt spk was no more. But dweebs on the internet needed their feeling of linguistic superiority from somewhere and so it all got transferred to being anti-emoji instead.

Using emojis on reddit for example really triggers them and imo is a much underutilised form of trolling. So next time you're typing out a post on reddit plz don't forget the emojis πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜‚πŸ˜
