Is anyone sick of seeing urban decay?

Whenever I see graffiti, litter or weeds growing I'm stricken with a rage now :marseyraging: I'm thinking of just taking my wheelbarrow and powerwasher and just taking this into my own hands. I'm just so annoyed ong fr fr πŸ™„

Marsey for this feel :marseysteaming:

Ever play the 1993(?) game Syndicate? !g*mers

There are no more legitimate governments. You are one of many megacorporations engaged in private warfare using cybernetically enhanced soldier-spies to conquer territory.

Yes but I had no idea how a single thing worked and I could not get past the first level, same thing with Fallout 1 and 2

The 2012 FPS remake was also cool but forgettable.

There was a half-life muiplayer mod like that. Everyone played as a scientist, and your team would research new weapons at faster rates if you had more Whatevers. You could also steal briefcase of "tech" from the other team to boost your own.

!g*mers, old r-slur again brings up this HF game he played many years ago and fondly enjoyed it. :marseyhappytears:

I've been alive since the early 90s and it's always been shit. Heard in the 60s-70s it was even worse.

yeah, the 60s and 70s especially in the inner cities was insane largely due to unleaded gas making everyone unreasonably aggressive and there being literally no entertainment options compared to today

I just don't get how you don't have squads of grunts walking around with dry ice guns and powerwashers to clear out all the grime and graffiti. It's not hard then you can fine whoever owns the site or property for being neglectful. Same for signage. I want a law put in place where all signage for store fronts are wholesale and TRAD embossed painted wood frames. :marseyindignant:

The blight of replacing government employees who could clean things and beat hobos with an endless soup of NGOs, contractors, project managers, social workers, and various other grifters

Instead of having a police stand around and hassle junkies shooting up in alleys the capital city here just spent 1000s to install keypad locked gates to stop them hiding in them :marseyunamused: Now they wander in open areas to to shoot heroin :marseywholesome:

It used to seem cool but after 10 years of CoD I dont want to see it unless there's a gun in my hands

I like weeds, I think it looks cool when a yard is overgrown.

I don't like graffiti and litter but I can mostly manage it.

What I really hate is street crime. Hence despite being a pro-choice agnostic, I can't imagine voting for the Democrats.
