This is a huge NON story. Florida's full of people that fire weapons in their backyard for recreation, even in Palm Beach. The bigger story is- Trump golfing again?? He must really want that presidency. NOT. I put odds on Trump paying someone to fire into the air and keep him in the news cycle.

I do, too. He thinks it will distract from all of his and his running mate's hogwash.

Well I guess we'll soon find out if "third time's a charm".

That was my first thought. Stage another shooting scare, redirect from the bad debate news!

Do you think the first one was staged?

There is zero evidence that he was hit with anything.

Would be nice if this sort of attention was paid to mere ordinary citizens whenever gun shots were heard.

But what about the Haitians in Ohio and Venezuelans in Colorado :soycry:

He's safe, meanwhile Haitians in Ohio and Venezuelans in Colorado are in a state of perpetual fear due to him unleashing his cult of goons on them.

And there's absolutely no story on WaPo on the fact that JD Vance admitted he lied about that whole story just to get Media attention!

When you attack people on a daily basis, make people feel scared in their own country, support violent insurrection, this is what happens. It creates a climate of violence and fear. Trump may want to familiarize himself with that old maxim, live by the sword, die by the sword.

Oh, please, who gives a flying frog? A ridiculous incident in which he was never in danger meant only to distract from his severe cognitive decline and lies. Quick, wrap a diaper around his head and call a news conference!

Never had one for the first non incident

Yeah, Donnie was planning on milking that nonevent right up to Election Day. He thought he had all kinds of time. Then those doodyhead Democrats went and stole Donnie's spotlight, and he hasn't got his mojo back yet.

Would that have been your reaction if it had happened to the other presidential candidate? Like someone once said, it is not about who is in the office but the concept of that position. He is a former POTUS and something bad happened or something even worse could have happened. Some of us give a flying frog about what happened and why the assassination attempts on a former POTUS are happening.

Before Donald, and before January 6th, I'd have agreed with you. But he's made his presidency and his post-presidency something else entirely. He degraded the office, made a mockery of our nation, and spat in the faces of our allies. He deserves to live out his miserable life, yes, but asking the citizens of the nation he tried to overthrow to give him more respect that he EVER gave--or ever WILL give--to either to office or the country is a bridge too far. He's getting far, far better than he will ever deserve.

A lot of people are saying that these "shootings" are being staged by Trump himself for the money, attention and headlines... I'm not saying this, but a lot of people are.

"I'm not saying this, but a lot of people are."

You've captured the mood...It's just like Dumpty and Vance's claims re: Haitians in Springfield, Ohio.

GET RID OF TRUMP. HE'S THE DANGER!!

VOTE HARRIS...AND ALL DEMS!

The gunshots weren't even close to him, they were 4.5 miles away. I wish we cared this much about gun shots inside schools

According to news reports, the shots were at or near the golf course…where he was playing golf. The golf course is 4.5 miles from Mar-a-Lago. He wasn't 4.5 miles from the shots fired.
