Yeah, your one single poll was responsible for a 16 point shift...
If single polls had such a large effect size in how people vote on the day you can bet both sides would be spending a significant portion of their total campaign cash to commission polls and then release those which showed their side losing slightly.
The fact that they don't do this suggests someone is wrong here, and it's not the behemoths whose whole raison d'etre is to get more votes for their side.
