Here's the difference, I'll paraphrase Matt Yglesias you can't be Dem-curious. From an outsider, if you have questions on the ever changing milu of what is right and proper, you get shouted down immediately. If you have minor disagreements, you get cancelled for not supporting "basic human rights". If you're a male, who believe it or not, have serious issues, you get told to sit down and shut up because a white woman with a Harvard diploma and she/they pronouns is more oppressed than you. On the right, you can call Trump the American Hitler and become Vice President.
