Trump being a genuine fricking r*tard is his greatest strength

Regardless of who you supported most people would agree that Kamala did well in the debate. Can you remember a single thing she said?

They're eating the dogs. The people that came in. They're eating the cats. They're eating the pets of the people that live there.

Everyone remembers this line. It's like a five year old's spergout. It's like a doctor Seuss rhyme for r-slurs. But that's why its so good. You just can't fake this level of r-slurredness, and because you can't fake it, it's come off as genuine. Haitians bad. Whether you agree or not, you know what Trump is getting at and what he is trying to say.

Can you say the same about Kamala? Kamala is a midwit, but even a midwit knows how to hide her intentions. When she tells you that she is now for the border wall, do you believe her? A midwit is capable of saying that to your face because she thinks it'll court the centrist vote. It's simple 2D chess.

When Trump lies, he lies bigly. There aren't any subtilties whatsoever, the lies are often so dumb that you just have to sit back in awe of how dumb it is. So even though he lies it doesn't come off as capable of manipulation. The media in turn spergs out about all the dumb shit Trump says. It's good for the ratings, but also they are midwits themselves. But to the average American they don't feel the threat because they just tune out all the dumb nonsensical shit Trump says. So then people think that the media is being biased, which they are. Thats why its manipulative. It's 4D chess because its 1D chess.

I didn't watch the debates but I did watch his 3 hr interview with Rogan recently. The man knows how to tell a story, and is extremely good at building one on one rapport. It was the first time I understood his psychological appeal, though I didn't personally vote for him.

Whether you are sold on Trump or not, I find, ultimately comes down to whether you believe there are nefarious interests in government working to maintain their power, outside of public oversight or voter mandate. This one question involves a complete perspective shift, in fact, and it is impossible to fully understand the Trump phenomenon unless you also believe this one thing.

Furthermore, those who doubt the existence of a "deep state" will find defections of former liberals like Musk, Rogan, Greenwald, Gabbard, etc, extremely puzzling and strange. But for believers, its a complete red pill where one concludes the current Democratic party (and neocons to some extent) must be stopped at all costs, and Trump is the candidate most capable of fulfilling that goal.

I stick up for Trump all the time, but I could not get through 20 minutes of the Rogan interview. Trump started talking about the Lincoln bedroom, and then this turned into a fifth grade book report on the Lincoln family, and then he started talking about how Robert E Lee was such a great general, and then he started trying to compare Lee vs. Lincoln to some situation from MMA where he couldn't remember the name of either fighter. And none of the insights went deeper than surface-level.

I think that Trump sounds normal in a back-and-forth conversation, and he can be fun to listen to. Some of the podcasts he did capture that feeling (eg. Flagrant). But if you just let him talk with minimal redirection like Rogan did, his train of thought is a fricking mess.

The main advantage of the podcasts is just that Trump seems like a normal old man, and the "dark" "fascist" campaigning on "fear" just isn't there.

This is obvious to everyone but libs, who seem to have blind faith in the government.

As an independent I've always been skeptical of government, but have attributed it largely to the r-sluration or conflicting motivations of people passing the laws, so I never quite understood the feverish support for Trump, or the vociferous criticism towards the Democratic party by liberal defectors which accompanied it (the Russiagate, suppression of Biden's laptop, etc.) so I never gave too much of a shit, really.

Seeing in real time how the party influenced places like Reddit this election and how terrible Kamala was as a candidate, combined with the really obvious and awful coordinated shilling by the media, made me way more curious about the other shit that was going on. It was my "red pill" moment I suppose, though that also includes wondering about Peter Thiel's involvement in practically all aspects of the opposition.

There's a small group of people in the Democratic Party leadership, probably some on the DNC and some not, who can place the exact same story in the NYT, Washington Post, CNN, etc.. I saw in 2016 when Biden was considering running and should have been able to easily beat Hillary in the primaries. There was suddenly out of nowhere a storm of columns and op-eds about him being a horrible person. He got the message, that not just his political career but his reputation would be destroyed, and stayed out of the race.

I saw it most recently in the "gun barrels pointed" at Liz Cheney scandal. I watched it and understood perfectly. (It's actually one of DDR's more coherent moments.) Somehow every non-rightoid media outlet heard the same words and interpreted them completely differently from me, all in exactly the same way. I hate Trump so you'd expect me to see everything he does in the worst light. But this was fricking insane. In 30 seconds there was one time when he "should" which, if taken out of context, might mean that he wants someone to shoot Liz Cheney. It's not even a matter of him accidentally saying the wrong thing, it requires you to actively try to not understand him. At least this time one guy (I think it was from CNN) came out and said that he assumed it was true because everyone was saying it, but when he actually watched it he realized they were lying.

If there could be a silver lining in Trump getting reelected, it's that maybe he'll have his boys attach electrodes to some journos' genitals and nipples and find out the real structure of their organization. The organization behind the scenes that coordinates all these different media outlets, which should be competing with each other. The only problem is, if they find out the truth, how are they gonna tell me? Just because I hate leftoid journos doesn't mean I'm gonna suddenly start believing Breitbart and the Daily Wire and FOX News.

:marseyhesright: this is all true, but it's also true of any competent PR organization with contacts in the press. Ever notice how the same books get reviewed in all the major outlets around the same time? !bookworms It's not because those are the only books that came out recently, it's because publishers been making calls. :marseygossip:

Also he was addressing some Christian group, and for some reason he thought Christians don't vote (not true). But he said he'd fix the country so much that they could go back to not bothering to vote again. The media reported that he said no one would vote again because he'd institute a fascist one party state or whatever. They do it constantly. I keep remembering 20 years ago when the media would report on drone strikes, Snowden, the Iraq War, etc, and there was a lot of hard hitting stuff amidst the establishment lies. Journ*lism is just dead as frick.

Dude, it was like a weekly occurrence during his previous term. Like, 90% of overblown shit that Trump or anyone close to him said was straight up fake news, from, idk, "Covid is a hoax", to "it's our PPE" by Jared Kushner, to whatever, pick a random outrage, dig into it, and it's much more likely than not fake news.

I'm not even sure that there's a coordination needed for simple willful misunderstanding. They all read each other, someone comes with the vilest possible misinterpretation, everyone else copies it. Though of course it's also silly to assume that there's no Journolist 3.0, much more decentralized, trusted, and plausibly deniable. But it only makes the conspiracy more efficient, it's not a structural element, lying press gonna lie.

Trump was like that mildly radioactive shit they give to cancer patients to see where the tumors are and what are they up to.

I'll give you the ending:

Leftists perceive reality through social punishment and social approval. Social dynamics gone wild and out of control. The post ww2 social consensus: anti nationalism and anti racism.

You have a combination of people who develop a sort of stockholm syndrome as they fear punishment or are just desperate for social approval/social climbing. If you work in social services and have a brain (not likely) you see it at play and the whole situation is utterly baffling. Like evil people doing evil things but it's a heckin immigrant trans black person so everyone just looks at each other and refuses to acknowledge what is going on.

Rightoids are kinda dumb and are buttholes.

It's so clearly false to anyone who has ever worked in government. There is no sinister power working against the public, there are only petty tyrants and underpaid bureaucrats bumbling along or grasping for an office with a nicer window or a cushy exit to the private sector.

It's the same exact shit as your local city council, just with a bigger budget.

The top officials at the DoD maintain a revolving door with the defense industry. The State Department and CIA continue subverting foreign governments independent of whichever president is in charge. They may be doing this out of greed, rather than intentionally working against the public, but the end result is the same.

Jump in the discussion.

No email address required.

The revolving door is real and a problem in many industries: finance is a big one. The only people really qualified to work at the SEC and regulate modern finance are the same people working for big banks and investment firms. I'm sure the same is true of the DoD and defense contractors.

I don't know the people at the very top of these organizations, but I briefly dated a guy who was in Air Force "cyber command" (lol) - he had security clearances etc, when he found out I was a dirty foreigner he joked that he'd have to report that we were sleeping together (maybe it wasn't a joke and he actually did) - and I met some of his friends and colleagues and they all seemed like Good Honest American types. Sure, they all had their own careers to worry about, but they basically wanted to try and do their jobs well and protect America from the sinister threats of Russian malware and unpatched Windows installations. They definitely joked about how the contractors were all old and rich, though.

There is lots of low-grade corruption and inefficiency, but I don't believe in the Deep State the way that conspiracy theorists use that term.

I really don't understand why people, even americans would even consider Russian malware all that sinister? Like, it's not Putin's top guy hacking your granny's diaper drawer, it's Ivan from Vladivostok trying to make a quick buck. And even then if something important leaks, it's not like it actually matters to the average citizen since there's no way in heck Russia or any other state's gonna a threat to the US, so why try and dress up your job as more than it is? Patching windows so that government tech's not running on windows xp in the year 2075.

I don't doubt it. The rank-and-file usually aren't privy to whatever the top brass ae thinking, and AFCYBER is just the cyber warfare division of the Air Force.

I believe it exists, but it's just high-level bureaucrats and private sector colluding to enrich themselves, rather than carry out some grand agenda.

Name one covert action the CIA has ever done that didn't have the approval of the President. Ever. You got 75 years to choose from so I'm sure you can find one specific instance of this ever happening.

State Department... subverting foreign governments

WTF does this even mean? The worst part of our diplomacy is that it seeks "stability" at all costs, even if it means propping up regimes that should have fallen long ago.

I'm a bit drunk, so I probably worded that poorly, but I meant that they operate largely independent of the president in carrying out foreign policy objectives, with the president acting as a rubberstamp for their activities.

No, actually they don't. They don't make policy, they execute the President's policy.

with the president acting as a rubberstamp for their activities

Do you think it was the CIA that wanted to assassinate Castro? JFK wanted him dead and assigned Bobby Kennedy to execute it. Bobby then ordered the CIA to kill him.

Of course we can never say that because they both got shot. The left realized that memories of the them were a blank canvas they could paint anything on. So JFK becomes the guy who didn't want us to get involved in Vietnam :marseylaugh: and Bobby Kennedy is this humanitarian who would never hurt a fly.

In the 1970s the CIA got their balls completely cut off by r-slurs like you in Congress. Who, if you remember civics class, are the people who decide how much to fund the CIA or if it should even exist (this was debated at the time).

If the CIA ever "goes rogue" it would be post-9/11 and I haven't even seen evidence of that.

I believe this but it doesn't mean I'm gonna vote for some tard to smash everything.

defections of former liberals like Musk, Rogan, Greenwald, Gabbard, etc, extremely puzzling

  • Musk - He's your friend in high school who got into drugs and suddenly his personality completely changed.

  • Rogan - Is he even that right-wing?

  • Greenwald - I've been saying that he's working for the Russians since back when he was the darling of the extreme left in the early 2000s. Prescient. :marseyfortuneteller:

  • Gabbard - Realized that the party bosses (like this c*nt who somehow hasn't gotten a bullet in the head yet) would never let an outsider like her have a chance. Decided to sell out instead, finding herself a cozy niche in the alt-rightoid ecosystem that would at least insure a long career of grifting tards and appearing on RT.
