More people voted against Trump than voted for him.
— Tristan Snell (@TristanSnell) November 22, 2024
That's called winning the popular vote.
What level of cope even is this?
Trump WON the electoral college.

Trump WON the popular vote, first time a republican has won in two decades.
Trump WON more votes than any republican candidate in history
Trump WON the majority in the Senate
Trump WON the majority in the House.
Twist like a pretzel all you…
"Trump WON the popular vote, first time a republican has won in two decades."
That's one way to say more Americans supported @HillaryClinton in 2016.
More weird
This makes no sense considering Trump crushed Kamala in a landslide victory.
Donald Trump's Mandate Is a Myth - cope article
Actually, he barely managed to win everything in America, chud. This proves he's not as popular as you claim

AP is reporting 49.99 or 50.0 with 3 significant figures. If the site you linked otherwise lists 49.86, that rounds to 49.9.

He won more votes than her, so that's winning the popular vote. Even if he only had one vote more than her, he would have won it. There is no "you have to win by this amount to be declared popular vote winner" rule.
They just can't and won't accept that he won, and that more of the voting population of the country picked him than those who picked the Coconut Queen.

I guess the assumption is that there'll be at least a few more west coast votes to tip it under 50%.

Maybe? But definitionally more people would still have voted for him percentage wise than Kamala, 99.1 percent of the vote is counted and she'll still be lagging behind

Ah I get you. No I think his bit is that votes "against" is Kamala + Stein + Libertarians so as long as Trump doesn't stay above 50% he has more votes against. R-slurred claim either way (the people who voted Green probably voted more against the Dems than against Trump for example) but I think that's what he means.

Yea its a cope. More people definitely by that logic voted against the Dems and Kamala than for them, but it helps him sleep at night i guess. What losing the popular vote does to a mfer

Aren't these the same people who were yelling that a vote for a third party is a vote for Trump, you must vote for Harris or else? So by that logic, the RFK and Stein etc. votes should go to Trump, not be bundled in with Harris.
Votes 'against' Trump are also votes 'against' Harris, because the voters had the choice to vote for her and they didn't.

It's already below 50 %. 49.86 % atm including write-ins. Though it's 50.35 % when you add the RFK votes to the Trump tally
