Russia is a really fascinating and diverse country. Since you're in Japan you could make use of the trans Siberian railroad and fly back from Vladivostok or something

Thats what Ive been thinking. But not the whole country. I saw the railroad connects into Ulaanbaatar so from there to Vladivostok seems like the most appealing route and then a flight back

Its so fricking long though but I keep ending up with like 15 leftover vacation days every year anyways
