Women online have taken to filming ghoulish murder-fantasy videos in which they romanticize lacing men's beverages with deadly poison as a justifiable response to fears about abortion rights under a second Trump presidency.
Many of the videos have been viewed millions of times on X or TikTok and feature young women fiendishly grinning as they adulterate a cup of tea or other drink with an unknown substance.
Some of the women have dubbed the videos part of a "Make Aqua Tofana Great Again" โ or "MATGA" โ movement, a nod both to President-elect Donald Trump's MAGA campaign slogan and ancient killer Giulia Tofana, who has been adopted as the disturbed group's heroine.

— Corey A. DeAngelis, school choice evangelist (@DeAngelisCorey) November 10, 2024
He lashed out at a student for wearing a Trump hat, called Christians a "bunch of losers" for voting for him, called him a "child molester" and "rapist" & MORE.

Lots of reasons for the vote:

Incumbents are unpopular!
Biden had a low approval rating!
Harris did this or didn't do that!
Etc., etc.
I don't quarrel with the analyses. But to understand is not to excuse. No excuse for the American people voting to make Trump president again.

George Clooney feels he is being used as a 'scapegoat' in the furious blame game over who could have cost Kamala Harris the election โ and will now take a step back from politics.
The Hollywood star, 63, threw his support behind Harris after penning a blistering op-ed on why Joe Biden would cost the Democrats the win if he didn't abandon his campaign, but it still wasn't enough to prevent an historic victory for Donald Trump.
Clooney has since been criticized by Democrats for his influence during the election, with some claiming Harris' loss was his fault.
The Oscar-winner is 'disheartened' by the backlash, with insiders claiming he did not immediately endorse Harris because he felt the Democrats should have 'taken a step back' to weigh up their options.
'George feels that the backlash he is getting for Kamala losing is not at all warranted,' a source told DailyMail.com exclusively. 'He thinks it is completely unfair to try and make him a scapegoat for her loss.
'He has backed the Democratic Party and invested so much time and money into them, but he is going to take a step back for now. He feels very disheartened.'
They continued: 'When he wrote his op-ed, George did not say "Biden is not fit to be president choose Kamala". The Democrats jumped on Kamala and within days she was the candidate.
'George believes that they should have taken a step back and looked at their options. That is why he did not endorse her right away.'
Trump secured a stunning comeback to the White House on Wednesday and currently holds 295 electoral votes.
The Ocean's Eleven actor penned a brutal op-ed for the New York Times in July where he called on Biden to step down from the race and declared: 'We are not going to win in November with this president.'
The piece was published less than a month after Clooney raised $30million at a fundraiser for Biden's re-election campaign.
Weeks later, Clooney threw his support behind Harris and her 'historic quest' as he thanked Biden for 'saving Democracy' by conceding his place in the race to his Vice President.
But the move has been scrutinized by Democrats who have claimed: 'It's all George Clooney's fault!'
Veteran-led, political commentator group altNOAA posted on X: 'Someone bring me George Clooney. We need to have a...talk.'
Journ*list Joshua Hartley uploaded a screenshot of Clooney's op-ed piece and added: 'Thank you George Clooney.'
Another X user penned: 'Trump should not forget to thank the Hollywood celebrities. Especially George Clooney.'
Clooney also lent his voice to an ad campaign by Vote Common Good in support of Harris and Tim Walz.
The 30 second video featured a group of Republican men casting their ballots together with their families.
'Come on boys. Let's make America great again,' one of the men told the group.
One of the others was then seen looking at a family photo as he decided who to vote for.
'Before you cast your vote in this election, think about how it will impact the people you care about the most,' Clooney could be heard saying.
The man then looked over at his young daughter before deciding to secretly vote for Harris.
The friend asked him if he did his 'patriotic duty,' to which he responded: 'You bet I did, brother.'
Harris emphasized her support for abortion rights after the Supreme Court's 2022 decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, ending the constitutional right to abortion services.
Clooney's close friend Julia Roberts also lent her voice to an ad for the Christian-backed group as she endorsed Harris.
Other stars leading the charge included Taylor Swift, Beyoncรฉ, Bruce Springsteen, Will Ferrell and even Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Meanwhile, Trump was backed by the likes of Elon Musk, Kanye West, Hulk Hogan and Mel Gibson.

Love the ot. We sure fricking arent going back!!!!!
Good luck America. I can't believe the January 6th coup attmpter is still a candidate for president.
A female American president is something I'd like to experience in my life time.
Harris 314-Trump 224. Blue Iowa is real and she picks up every battleground state except for AZ.
Here for history. Let's do this. We are not going back!
Y'all keep in mind mail in ballots can take a day or two or three to be fully counted. Don't stress to much right away if things are looking close, is all I'm saying.
Expecting the worst, hoping for the best.
Also hoping for a trifecta because we need that to pass anything with how Republicans are very very reluctant to come across the aisle for Harris to pass anything.
Harris wins but it's only clear by Wednesday night for normal people, the traitors will be in denial till January like last time.
till January 2028 at least, given what we've seen from the traitors these past four years.
I'm pumped. Let's get this done! 325-213
Time to end this stupid MAGA movement once and for all.
Feeling optimistic after the IOWA poll.
Let's do this, America. I know we can.
I'm going to contradict myself in the other thread and say that Blexas is happening, 100%.
I just want to not have to worry about a Trump presidency(or MAGA for that matter) for the foreseeable future.
I was relatively nervous the past few days but that Selzer poll has me cautiously optimistic. Hoping for full control of congress too.
Good luck to you guys. I heard it might be the most important election in your lives right now.
Nerves are starting to hit now that we are at the doorstep of the election. Just thinking about what we are all about to go through collectively and that there's a new world that we are about to step into potentially as soon as 48 hours from now. It's time America, let's do it.
Final prediction: I believe in Ann Selzer
325 Harris
213 Trump
so in the case of a Republican loss, what does their party look like going forward?
I just can't fathom anything short of an institutional shift
They double down on chudshit
Not nervous. Think it gets called late Tuesday or no later than Wednesday morning for Kamala.
I've been consistent with 292 but now I'm thinking probably 308.
Please make Trump go away. Please. Don't let this be another 2016.
God I hope Harris destroys this orange butthole on Tuesday. Leave no doubt that Americans are done with this frick tard
I'm ready for our first female president-elect
I want to believe in the Senate. I want it so bad.
This is the election that Trump loses by how much he should've lost in 2016 (and even 2020)
After the Selzer poll, I'm full on "Harris will crush this pathetic, puny, little man in front of the entire world" mode.
Democrats sweep the House and Senate, that's the electoral consequence for the GOP finally achieving Roe's overturn.
Kamala gonna win in a blowout
Feeling cautiously optimistic; polls suck and this season they put their thumb on the scale because they underestimated 2016 and 2020 Trump not realizing '24 Trump ain't the same dude. You can never underestimate America's racism and it's innate hatred, but I do think the Trump fatigue that cost him 2020 he has only made worse. Can't sell yourself as the fix of the economy to centrists if the smog is all about racist jokes, and the 8channers don't vote.
Harris is going to win, I've never been more confident on this. This will be like 2020 where America rejects Trump again.
Good luck, United States of America.
Please do not frick this up, I swear to god, if you frick this up, well, I'll be extremely sad. :(
-A Canadian who's closely watching
If that Seltzer poll is right then St. Ann Seltzer girl saint of setting narratives on fire
Mentioned this in the prediction thread, but thought this might be an interesting dynamic we could run into:
Harris defeats Trump, 308 to 230 electoral votes
Harris to get around 83 million votes (women turnout, prior Republican voters joining in)
Trump to get 68 million votes
Notable aspects:
- Iowa will flip based on the Selzer poll, although I think it will be Harris +1; makes the state a battleground in the 2028 election
- The blue wall will hold with Harris +1 to +2
- Georgia and North Carolina will be Harris +0.5 to 1
- Trump will flip Nevada by +0.5, Arizona by +1 to +2
- Trump will win Texas by Trump+2ish; makes the state a battleground in the 2028 election
Also:
- Dems will retake the House of Representatives after a very unpopular and unproductive current congress
- Super risky to say it, but I think Dems will possibly hold Senate. Chance of Allred defeating Cruz, and I'm going to say that Tester defeats Sheehy in a surprise twist; might even see Ohio related surprise.
I think that Selzer poll gave me the thought that polling is missing a key piece of information that the specific poll found, which will turn into some surprise over performance on the Harris/Democrat front. Still will be close/feel close for most of the night, but I feel more comfortable.
Glad we're almost done. This time around, ads and texts/emails felt too overwhelming. Especially trump's nasty ads, that one transphobic ad almost made me stop watching the world series.
I've been very demoralized this whole year due to the Gaza genocide and don't know how excited I can get with a Harris win, but I really wish with all my heart that this is the last time I ever have to think about trump, and will turn in my ballot for Harris tomorrow. Please just frick off trump.
As an outsider looking in, I think she's got it in the bag, never seen such an angry response online from women voters. Women are once again going to saving America.
The death of the GOP will be televised and it will be glorious.
We're not going back!
She's got this. I believe!
I honestly haven't been worried since Biden stepped down and endorsed Harris.
She's going to win.
I'd argue that MI is one of her strongest states too; I'd say it WI that's giving me a little bit of worry. But overall I think she'll win all MI, WI, PA. Word on the streets is that Kamala's camp has been straight lapping Trump's with phone calls and door canvassing. Leaving it in Elon's hands for Trump it's been an absolute disaster.(allegedly)
After the Seltzer poll I think it's likely Harris has this in the bag. I think women voters are going to make the difference in a major way.
It breaks my heart that there haven't been more concessions on the subject of Palestine from Harris' camp, and while I obviously want her to win, I hope there is some part of the results that reflects voter discontent over US policy there that can drive bigger change.
Dems get trifecta. Book it. Shit is going to be monumental on so many levels.
I've been extremely (maybe too invested) even though I'm not American especially since the first debate.
Looking forward to a blue trifecta, I think one of the Montana, Texas or Florida senate seats are going to be a surprise result.
Man to think that it's only been over 3 months since Biden dropped out and Kamala established herself as the Democratic nominee, but felt like forever. The fact things felt completely hopeless since Biden's disastrous performance in the debate with Trump and we were all fearing that another Trump term was legit gonna happen. After all the shit he ended up pulling including January 6, and yet ends up getting nominated; I'm especially upset that the courts essentially granted him immunity.
Not to mention being one of those skeptics back when it was prior to Biden withdrawing, and if it was feasible for whoever would succeed him to pull of a successful campaign in a short amount of time relative to other presidential nominees. The fact Kamala was able to have such a tremendous start when she started her campaign and is still going strong, I was glad to stand corrected. And things just amplified with Tim Walz being Kamala's running mate.
And that's not getting to just how bad things got for Trump, since Kamala became his opponent. He has really not been having a great time. I mean make no mistake, his base is still remaining loyal to him, but we can only hope the turnout is grand in favor of Kamala.
Cheering you all on from Canada! Time to defeat the orange despot for good.
Based on the EV numbers Georgia might be a pretty quick call. I'm going to laugh if theyhave to just start calling the entire East coast.
I'm not saying the hopium is kicking in but Republicans are already in the 'anger' section of the Five Stages of Grief, including blaming the potentially rabid dead squirrel of a male OnlyFans model.
Not gonna lie, it's real fricking grim watching from over here and realising that something like 46%+ of American voters are going to vote for a fascist, and we just have to hope a handful of voters in a handful of states vote the other way, or else the most important democracy in the world is going to fall to fascism.
Anyway, please don't frick this up.
As a non-US nobody, please stop that annoying orange martian.
Anti-intellectualism, fascism, xenophobia, anti-vax, anti-semitism, sexists, racists, etc got so much boosts around the globe last time you guys elected the orange one, don't make the rest of us go through it again
Echoing others from outside the US: here's hoping we can start turning the page on the orange hate machine. His toxic influence permeates politics so much and the slide into further and further division has been awful the past decade.
I'm pretty confident that women will us for another 4 years at least, but if you have the ability to GOTV, please do. Not just for you, or your family but for democracy and the rest of the world.
You got this!
Whatever happens tomorrow, (hope it goes the right way) this really has been a seriously impressive campaign from Harris and her team. When everyone thought Trump was going to destroy Biden in the election after his terrible performance at the debate in June (!), to even come back from that with a brand new candidate and a woman of colour to boot must really enrage Trump, lol.
Her choice of Tim Walz as her VP pick has been impressive too, the guy is so down to earth from everything I read and see and really gets what makes America an inspiring country.
I fricking hope it goes well tomorrow, lol. That orange shitstain can rot in jail along with his many insane followers and it'd be lovely to see a real person of colour back in the White House.
Good luck America!
Maybe this is the wrong take but it's kinda wild how badly the Republicans are doing.
The Biden administration is generally unpopular, was in office during incredible inflation, and they're supporting a literal genocide.
This is about as vulnerable as it gets for Democrats and the Republicans couldn't just be normal and capitalize on that.
Haven't seen any research on this but I think a Romney type or even another Bush candidate or really just a generic R that isn't out here being as racist and awful as possible would have a better chance. Like imagine the Republicans chances this election if an exiting Biden was anywhere near as popular as an exiting Obama or Clinton.
And I'm hoping this is the takeaway for the GOP as well and we start to see some kind of rejection of MAGA as it becomes an electoral dead end.
Anyway I'm supremely confident Harris will run away with this
German here but suuuuuper exicted about this election. Hoping for a Kamala blowout. Might even wake up early to see whats going on!
Please, America, don't let the fascist win. Vote for better tomorrow, hope, human rights, democracy, reason and empathy. Vote blue.
I know it's probably just dooming, but all the recent good news on the Harris side feels like it's just setting up another 2016-style gut punch when the dust settles and Trump ends up winning.
It's also hard to not think about how I'm largely in a Democratic "bubble" in terms of social media and news, and might be missing/ignoring the signs of a Trump victory coming from the other side. After all, from my perspective, the race shouldn't be remotely close at all. Yet it clearly is.
It's a frustrating feeling.
Clinton was most certainly not having good news in the last couple of weeks of 2016's election. There were alarm bells going off everywhere even if most people didn't or wouldn't see them.
Don't let us down, America.
Kick this orange fricker and the maga cult to the curb once and for all.
Most of us outside of the US are rooting for you, everyone!
It might be scary, but I have no doubt that you got this!! ๐
I have a busy day at work Wednesday, i'm hoping we get an early indication of a Harris win so im not staying up all night! Feeling more positive though that our American cousins will do the right thing.
I'm filled with (cautious) confidence about tomorrow. People were ready to reject Trump in 2020 and that feeling is even stronger in 2024. Still gonna get high and play games though.
From a european perspective it's insane that a couple of swing states are so crucial to not only the future of the US, but to the rest of the world as well. I have colleagues who are noticeably anxious about the election, some of them are considering staying up to follow the election through the night.
I'm just going to go to bed early and hope that I don't wake up to a bunch of text messages saying "I fricking told you so!!!!" Like I did the last time Trump was elected. I still have hope.
Well tomorrow I am going to be a complete mess. I wont be able to watch any of the coverage and will hopefully take a gummy and sleep early cause I can not deal with the stress. If she wins... it only delays the crazies.. If they find a younger person to lead the MAGA nut jobs it will be even harder to defeat next time because they wont have the baggage of Trump and can fool people with a different delivery. But we need to delay that at least for 4 years... I voted a while ago but I am in Minnesota so while important my vote is not as important as other states. Women please save us! Signed.. white middle aged man.
We're not going back! Good OP! excited to leave work early tomorrow and witness history being made.
Can anyone please explain to me this fricking nonsense with squirrel? What the frick is this circus?
It is a symptom of the terminally online campaign and why it is so poorly run.
Eating the dogs and the cats? Social media
Venezuelan gangs taking over apartment buildings? Social Media
Touting fake polls only to be blind sided by high quality pollsters....you get the idea.
It all comes down to this...really should have voted (can you blame me when I live in Louisiana?), but I been doing what I can, I went to church for first time in a long time yesterday, I took an old fancy rosary & my mom's (who passed in February.) glasses, and I been feeling oddly confident since. I stand by Texas flipping, & I really think Harris has this. If trump just kept his mouth shut, things would be way different. All in all? I'm ready! This country can be very difficult at times, but I believe in us!
I want him to drop dead on Election Night, give me the Death Note please
Nah, let him experience political destruction, then let the lawsuits all come to roost and he gets destroyed legally, then the fallout from that destroys him financially, he descends into absolute madness that destroys his legacy even amongst his ardent followers. And then he can feel free to drop dead.
LET'S FLUSH THESE FRICKING TURDS
I'm feeling super confident about this!
+2 in Indiana for Harris and Jennifer McCormick for governor. Mike Braun needs to be swept into the dustbin of history with Trumps and the other ghouls.
I need her to OBLITERATE him.
ANNIHILATE any and all potential future for him as an important figure in US government.
We're takin' both chambers, babbyyyyyyy!!!!
Time to kick MAGA to the curb where it belongs.
Enjoy prison, Donald.
I believe in our polling queen, Ann Selzer, that Harris will win with no problem at all and it won't even be close
She noticed Hillary was struggling in 2016 and saw that Biden's polls were way too inflated in 2020. Now she see's old white women voters going big for Harris. She's extremely confident in her result and keeps calling out other polls for herding and trying too hard to get the 2020 result again. She's staking her entire well earned reputation on Harris absolutely destroying Trump
Already voted, and I'm ready for some good news tomorrow.
Let's frick him up.
I probably haven't been following very closely but I feel like there's been very, very little identity politics from Democrats beyond a massive rejection of Trump and MAGA. Unless we're including pro-choice as part of that but that's another easy layup for Dems.
It's been a very centrist campaign in that regard likely deliberately so.
I'm literally going into recluse mode tomorrow and Wed. I live in a deep red area and no matter who wins, I'm worried of shenanigans. I'm gonna watch an Avengers marathon Wed to keep my mind off things.
Hoping there's still a country so I can pick up my PS5 Pro on Thurs lol.
So to maybe calm some people down a bit, 2016 actually had a lot of very very bad news that was mostly ignored by everyone high on Clintonium. District level polling was showing Dem house races were struggling and Clinton was doing pretty poorly in them as well. Polls had like 10+ percent undecided voters even right up on the last week. Polls were showing these late decides were leaning to Trump. Clinton's campaign was all over the place, doing rallies in states she had no chance because she wanted a massive record win instead of a regular win. And while she was doing that, her campaign was terrified and panicked about the midwest and what they were seeing. The highest quality polls around were showing voters late breaking for Trump after the Comey letter scandal, which was the cherry on top of a campaign that had been riddled with bad news and scandals. Remember when she fainted on 9-11???
Meanwhile in 2024 it's like... the opposite of that. District polls are showing at minimum 2020 numbers in states like NY, while in swing states are near apocalyptic for Republicans. Polls have almost no undecided this year, and what little they do have are finding to be leaning towards Harris. Harris' campaign is laser focused on the states that matter and outright have said they don't care if she does well in the PV, she only cares about the 5 states that matter. Her campaign is remarkably confident they have this, their numbers look great and they're proud of how much work they've done. The highest quality polls are showing her either matching 2020 Biden or faaaaarrr exceeding it and late breaks are breaking towards Harris. The candidate with the scandals this time is Trump, and his campaign has basically just thrown in the towel for voter outreach. Trump's rallies barely get anyone to show up anymore and he looks like a tired old man
This is a very different case than 2016. In 2016 there were warning signs all over that Hillary was not doing well at all, but they were hand waved away or ignored. Now it's Trump's campaign that is the one hand waving away the evidence that he's struggling
Anecdotal speculation time: the country already rejected trump in 2020 and THEN Jan 6 happened and since then he's done nothing to appeal to anyone he didn't already appeal to. Why would he win this time? He lost 2020, never wins the popular vote, and has only gotten worse. I think the polls saying it's close are ignoring key data points and are only interested in promoting a tight race for the views. I do believe Kamala will win, and I'm slightly hopefully for a blowout too!
We'll see what happens but that's my take. I was sorely wrong about Bernie though so I'm no prophet lol
