I remember that. Look at this butthole just sitting there in front of a classroom with his thumb up his butt while America is under attack. He just sat there the whole time doing nothing. Couldn't even excuse himself by saying "I'm sorry class, but there's been an emergency so I have to go deal with it." He just sat there, wasting valuable time while people died.
They played it up like he was being noble and didn't want to alarm the children, but just look at his face when he gets the news. Can you see that expression? That's what it looks like when the most powerful man in the country needs a fresh set of underwear. The truth is that George W Bush was terrified and he had no fricking clue what to do. His whole life, he had been pushed up the ladder by nepotism, so when the time finally came for him to put on his big boy pants and make an adult decision for the first time in his life, he couldn't handle it. The real reason he sat in that classroom for ten minutes was because he was totally out of his depth and just stalling for time.
This is when it really struck me that American leadership was in severe crisis, and that our oligarch elite class had fallen into stagnation and no longer deserved to hold power. It was seeing the scion of a wealthy elite dynasty who had inexplicably inherited the highest position in the land just absolutely pooping the bed when it came time to assert real leadership over a country in crisis. That's when I understood that something had to be done to correct this problem, the problem of elite failure.

You got it mixed up slightly, delta was found in India, which was originally being called the Delhi variant or Indian variant. What’s funny is that the Uk/Kent variant had no naming issues for months but as soon as a variant was found in India they changed the naming almost immediately and the media fell in line.
I’m pretty sure the WHO cucked us out of having the Nu variant as well when omicron happened in South Africa because it sounded too close to Mu variant which no one even knew about.
