His work history is hilarious. He lived with his poor mom in Brazil (who immigrated to NYC before moving back, his dad stayed in US), where he went full gaybro with Brazil peepee. He left brazil after cashing a fake cheque and getting caught. He then got a job at some scammy online travel company. Then he got a job at a ponzi scheme selling it to people which made him temporarily wealthy, then he claimed to have lost a million dollars when the scheme went bust. That's when he started doing credit card shit and not paying his rent, getting evicted multiple times.
At some point before the ponzi crashed he became a hardcore Trumper and got into politics.
Then he got elected as a representative in NY before his whole debt/ponzi thing caught up to him 6 months later. He may have still made a lot of $$ in the ponzi job, but regardless he has no legal risk from it, just the debt stuff.
