I thought the only reason is because "I'm a real woman and I want to make my body female."

The classic excuse to transition is to make your outside match your inside, but the author is saying they want to change their outside in order to change their inside.

She's going through a second puberty, if you don't allow a 30 year old male to act like a slutty school girl from a hentai game then you want to put foids back in the kitchen. They missed out on receiving horrific trauma and abuse in their teens, a foid like you wouldn't understand how invalidating that is.

I think one of the reasons a lot of r-slurred :!marseytrain:s don't stop the charade is that changing your mind on something like this is really embarrassing and shows everyone you know that you're just a fricking idiot.
