Israel assassinates a Fatah leader in Lebanon

This was near the infamous Ain el-Hilweh refugee camp outside Sidon, a dense slum controlled by the Palestinians where outside law enforcement isn't allowed to go.

Israeli officials have accused Mounir Maqdah [his boss] of facilitating the smuggling of weapons into the West Bank.

Sounds plausible. I expected that if the war kept going long enough we'd see discipline in Fatah break down as individuals or factions started attacking the Israelis. I'm surprised it took this long tbh.
