Literally tens of millions of people were displaced in the second half of the 1940's due to war, creation of new countries, and redrawing of existing borders. There's only one case of displacement that I think deserves to still be relitigated, but it's not a double standard.

By the standards of Palestinian "refugees", I would qualify as a refugee of the Chinese Civil War. My grandparents were literal children when they left China, my mom was 4 years old when she left Taiwan and my dad was born in America. I don't speak the language and I am 100% American. If I applied Palestinian "logic" to this situation Taipei is the world's largest refugee camp (and the world's largest open air concentration camp) with a population of 7 million for the metropolitan area and I am a refugee living in America until the PRC falls and I return to China.
