This person was a DIRECTOR. How do you get to be a director at the Pentagon and still be a spy? You'd think they'd be investigated thoroughly before ascending that high up into a leadership role.

She already was caught being involved in an influence peddling operation for Iran a year ago and somehow was still allowed to keep her security clearance and position.

She was on Robert Malley's team that was negotiating with Iran. The same Malley who headed up the nuclear deal talks and who lost his security clearance for mishandling classified documents and reportedly having close ties to Iranian regime linked influence agents.

What is this post? That's not the headline of the article and the referenced individual hasn't been named as the person responsible.. They still don't know where the leak came from and a random senator just raised this person as a possibility in a tweet.. the article even says as much

Yeah, it just fits too well with the fear mongering toward immigrants. Any time a crime happens, if race or country of origin is mentioned, it's enough for a significant portion of the population to see it as proof against people who came to the country and aren't like them. If there were a real issue, like immigrants being involved in leaking secrets, I'd understand the concern. But that's not the case, even if this one incident were proven

If I remember correctly, Borrell said that the EU cannot label any organization as a terrorist organisation until there is a sentence from a judge saying so, which looks like the sensible thing to do to meand probably the correct one from a legal perspective, specially if there were additional sanctions against Iran laid out at the time.
