Every country needs a global war simply because there are too many olds and weaks straining the pension/social security equivalent schemes while also getting rid of excess moids while also boosting domestic demand and jobs, while also increasing the tax rate to deal with the frickhuge government debt problems while pushing a lot real problems down the line so they don't have to deal with it under the guise of patriotism.

I think they preferred to test how the population reacts to mandates and lockdowns for long periods of time rather than focus on killing people. This will happen either through war or through a second pandemic :marseycovidscare:
