If you currently oppose a ceasefire in Lebanon, please grow a brain.

The two fronts were separated, it is clear that the Israeli enemy has no interest in withdrawing from Gaza anytime soon. Lebanon has already sacrificed its finest men, women and children for this cause.
angry at him for agreeing with an israeli
"I'm secretly Jewish? No YOU'RE secretly Jewish"
And much, much more

We're at the point where they're agreeing to the cease-fire. That's step 0. Wtf actually happens afterward we haven't even begun to get into.
How will Hezbollah break the treaty?
Will the Lebanese Army just become Hezbollah 2.0?
Will the Israelis break this like every treaty like they have before, because they're run by people with a Russian gangster mentality? (This isn't really a question, it's how bad they will break it.)
Will Hezbollah keep shooting at UNIFIL and pretending the Israelis are doing it?
In the end, apparently this is going to end up with the Lebanese Army controlling the border. Which the Israelis have always claimed they wanted but they really don't want. All the senior officers in the army are approved by Syria. Hezbollah could just put on new uniforms. It's just fantasy land that this would solve any problem Israel had.
I don't give a shit anymore. Everyone is gonna call me a shill for the Israelis (more sophisticated) or an Arab-lover (way more r-slurred).
I honestly don't care anymore.

Eh, Israel wants this so when the rockets don't stop at least there are some international mechanisms in place that allow pressure to be put on Lebanon as a state. At the moment it's kind of just "idk man its Hezbollah. Non-state actor bruh what you gonna do? dont you have iron dome?" and that's kind of annoying for Israelis.

I've seen cease-fires fail even when both sides want them to work. This is just the beginning of a long process. There's lots of people on the Israeli side openly opposed to the cease-fire working, and we can assume at least as many in Hezbollah but they just don't have easy access to English-language media. It's like getting your old drunk Uncle Redactor into rehab. You're gonna have to keep doing it until it sticks.
Every "international mechanism" that's been tried since 1978 has gotten murdered by Israelis in huge numbers. The Irish, the Fijians, all these notorious anti-semetic countries.
They're back again to the old r-slurred idea that the Lebanese Army will fight their war for them... if they encourage them by murdering them. They're up to 40+ of their "allies" and keep killing them everyday. The Israelis have been consistently against a Lebanese Army strong enough to replace Hezbollah. Since the 1960s, long before Hezbollah was created. Remember who did that btw? It was the Israelis.
So far it's just la plus ca change.

The Lebanese army aren't doing anything about Hezbollah trying to murder Israelis when the IDF weren't killing them every day so why not try killing them instead? It's a long shot but you just never know!

If you want them to do you a favor, maybe killing them over and over again isn't the best way to ask?
