Probably shouldn't have killed all those kids, ey?
He was in the IDF, enough said.
gosh it must be lovely to live in such a simplistic world where you can totally dehumanize someone like that with zero evidence. There were even nazi's that didn't kill people. Heck some nazi soldiers even tried to kill hitler. But go ahead and pass judgement on everyone...i'm sure that will solve this 5000 year old conflict.
I will go ahead and judge them all thanks not that I need your permission. Scum the fricking lot of them and if you're defending them then you are too!
jannied.
So... while it's easy to think like that... we need to remember that every member of the IDF is just as radically brainwashed as the members of Hamas, or any other terrorist organization... these are not all evil people. They were also children with hopes and dreams. You are allowed to feel bad for the human beings who are being lied to about their cause, and who are committing war crimes in the name of something that ultimately doesn't exist. It's all super fricked up and very sad. It's a profound waste of life.
No frick you and frick every single person who has ever served in the idf. You are all pieces of shit.
REMEMBER TO VOTE BLUE OR RED SO THEY CAN CONTINUE
Democracy is the biggest scam in human history, either you choose red or blue real ruler is 🐏. Also democracy make deep state easy to replace over night or in some days, this would be bug trouble for them where there's no election or leader changing system like in iran and north Korea.
Biggest problem i see with our republic is that you can buy the people who makes laws
The President is for sale!
What?you can't sleep after the murder, r*pe, torture??? Imagine how your victims felt...

Don't fricking both sides a genocide bro. Hamas did not start this.

It is against the rules of TWAA to support any crimes against humanity, including Apartheid.
Jannies working overtime.
Service is mandatory there, not just a draft , as is many countries. Draft ended in the US in 1973
So was it in nazi germeny
Is that a question, or a statement?
Conscripts are not immune from committing war crimes and crimes against humanity

They're all war criminals. Left-leaning people that criticize the IDF don't praise the US military.

There is no hipocrisy, you're making up people that don't exist. And you're German. Your country literally supplies 30% of Israel's foreign-sourced weapons. Your government has already chosen a side and dedicated resources towards it, despite your more "pressing matters".
Germans can't keep themselves away from a good genocide

Instead of following the part of UNSCR 1701 that orders Hezbollah to stay north of the Litani River, now they have go back 2km farther. - Wtf would this even accomplish?
Big increase to the size of UNIFIL. - Where are they going to come from?
"allowing UNIFIL to search any point, vehicle, site or home suspected of containing weapons" -
"expanding UNIFIL's maritime mission to involve Lebanese ports and any ships heading to them" - I'm sure everyone shipping stuff through Beirut will be glad to wait for it to be searched.
"deploying observation teams in all of the country's airports" - These would basically be hostages since they would be totally surrounded by Hezbollah.
"building watchtowers on Lebanon's border with Syria" - Again, this is bonkers. You're scattering these guys in the middle of Hezbollah territory.
This is obviously designed so that there's no way it will ever be accepted. Even if the Lebanese accepted it (there's a 0% chance of this) there's no way the UN Security Council would.
Even if this were totally rewritten to drop all those points, the basic premise is incredibly r-slurred. It's what the Israelis have been trying to since the late 1970s: The Lebanese army and UNIFIL to fight their war for them. The only problem is, neither of those have any reason to.
The Lebanese army won't do it because everyone remembers what happened at the start of the civil war. The army broke apart with different soldiers and units taking their equipment and going to fight for different militias. At a time when they should have been a force for unity, they helped tear the country apart. Nobody wants that to happen again. That's why the army has had a strict policy of not getting involved in internal disputes. For example when Hezbollah had its allies crush the Druze in 2008, they just stood by and watched. You know who they will fight against? Israel. That's why they cooperate so much with Hezbollah. UNIFIL isn't going to go around kicking people's doors down and ransacking their homes because why the heck would they? They work for the UN, not Israel.
This was the last chance for a cease-fire before the election. I guess Biden's handlers decided that Israel isn't going to sign anything anyway, so don't do anything that would give Bibi a chance to humiliate him yet again.

Normally we call this person a spy.
This person was a DIRECTOR. How do you get to be a director at the Pentagon and still be a spy? You'd think they'd be investigated thoroughly before ascending that high up into a leadership role.
She already was caught being involved in an influence peddling operation for Iran a year ago and somehow was still allowed to keep her security clearance and position.
https://www.semafor.com/article/09/25/2023/inside-irans-influence-operation
She was on Robert Malley's team that was negotiating with Iran. The same Malley who headed up the nuclear deal talks and who lost his security clearance for mishandling classified documents and reportedly having close ties to Iranian regime linked influence agents.
I hear neither Ukraine nor Israel want to tell Murica shit because they know there's good chances some burger will snitch
What is this post? That's not the headline of the article and the referenced individual hasn't been named as the person responsible.. They still don't know where the leak came from and a random senator just raised this person as a possibility in a tweet.. the article even says as much
Yeah, it just fits too well with the fear mongering toward immigrants. Any time a crime happens, if race or country of origin is mentioned, it's enough for a significant portion of the population to see it as proof against people who came to the country and aren't like them. If there were a real issue, like immigrants being involved in leaking secrets, I'd understand the concern. But that's not the case, even if this one incident were proven
It's enough for enemy countries to hire BIPOCs as spies for libs to fall all over themselves defending them
Probably more moles in our intel community than we realize. Minimum 10 years at Fort Leavenworth should be a deterrent. Vetting standards for those presently working and applicants with Middle East or chinese descent should be immediately re-evaluated.
This is pretty racist. Why not increase vetting standards across the board? Why did you not include Russian descent in your comment? What percent of descent would you have to have to be subject to the increased ethnic vetting standards you're suggesting? 50% or more? 25% or more? How about we just increase vetting standards for everyone and then focus more on those with connections to hostile powers rather than having some great great uncle that happened to immigrate from whatever country?
Yes, all those with adversary connections should have increased vetting standards. You call it racist, I call it profiling. This person had already been caught once.
Agreed. It's racial profiling (aka racist) if it's only for people of certain races or ethnicities. If it's for everyone with adversary connections that's a good idea in my mind.
Here's something else interesting.
No, you can't make sure this will never happen again! That would be racist!!
Malley, was definitely very suspicious. Almost as bad as the EU's Joseph Borrel who seemed to be working more for the IR, than the EU.
You are a fricking moron, Josep Borrell is not suspicious at all. He is far more decent than any politician in office in the US now, not to mention that he has a remarkable brain.
You forgot the /s
I do not think I forgot anything, maybe the sock puppets, to be able to discuss politics with redditors.
Really ?
I recall that even the EU parliament member mentioned that the only people who were sad to see him leave, were the IR. Because Borrel's REFUSAL to even name the IRGC as the terrorists that they are, and push to keep on talking, only allowed the IR to continue their quest for nuclear weapons.
... unless you are naive and don't understand how things work in that neighborhood. Not to mention their multiple agreement breaches.
Sort of like Hizbollah ignoring resolution 1701 and continue weaponizing under the UN's nose.
But don't just take my word for it:
What parliament member said that? Maybe some idiot from Orban's orbit or something like that. If I remember correctly, Borrell said that the EU cannot label any organization as a terrorist organisation until there is a sentence from a judge saying so, which looks like the sensible thing to do to meand probably the correct one from a legal perspective, specially if there were additional sanctions against Iran laid out at the time.
Redditors get upset over the weirdest shit
Could be worse, she could've been an avid warthunder player.
Imagine ruining your entire life just to tell the world the Israelis conducted some aerial refueling sorties on Oct 16th and appear to be preparing to strike Iran soon. Yet another embarrassment. Hope she gets 20+ years.
She also told us US is helping Israel, very shocking news
If true then this will be the second time the Biden administration intentionally employed a possible foreign agent for Iran (the other being Malley) despite all the allegations.
The heck were they thinking?
Same thing they were thinking when they promoted Jake Sullivan to head of Russia's air defense.

So, Israel told Merica what it will take for them to stop bombing Lebanon all the time and the demands are what anyone would expect from them:
"You are all stupid and incompetent and I hate you. From now on you must let me do the whole killing terrorists shit for you because your army is useless and full of lazy cowards. Technically UN should do more too, but I'm willing to take over all of their peacekeeping duties anyway so it doesn't matter. Also your air space is mine."
Lebanon will probably reject this, and it's using some weird logic for it:
Berri told Al-Arabiya on Sunday that Hochstein's visit is "the last chance before the U.S. elections to reach a solution" to the war in Lebanon. He stressed there is consensus in Lebanon about UN Resolution 1701 and made clear he refuses to amend it in any way, which is effectively what Israel is demanding.
"Yes, I know this is the only chance to sort this shit before your elections. Yes, I know that the elections and the transition period after them will take months. Yes, I know that there are high chances that a politician who will let Israel do whatever the frick it wants will win. Yes, we have no control over our country and no way of calming Israel down on our own. No, we won't negotiate shit. Israel pls assrape us some more!"
Muslims doing everything in their power to allow the jews to keep killing them is standard Middle East stuff at this point, so nothing shocking here. But for some reason the word 'demands' has send redditors into a frenzy
[deleted]
Misleading headline
[deleted]
The demands aren't from the US, read the article. It was given to the US so Hochstein can present them to Lebanon and discuss further.
Why does Israel have a stranglehold on the US? Why?
Why is no one talking about, and then actually, stopping this?
Sigh. Read the article. It's a misleading headline. Israel isn't making any demands of the US
According to the article the US wants to mediate peace talks in that conflict. A crucial early step for such talks is that all parties present their demands, which Israel now did.
Israel is not in a place to demand anything of the United States. It will do as it's told or it will be cast as a pariah on the world stage with no backing. I hope Biden and the State Department teach Bibi to fall in line like the good dog he is.
Misleading headline. The demands are not being made of the US
The USA does not has to facilitate peace negotiations in Lebanon. But if they do (and they seemingly do) they have to hear the demands of all parties involved. Israel now presented their demands. It is also not like they are demanding those things of the US they just presented them to the the US since they are the ones wanting to mediate peace talks.
Who the frick do they think they are ? Acting like spoiled child
There's nothing misleading about the headline, this is how negotiations between countries work Can you imagine how the negotiations would work if these r-slurs were involved?
: Ok, against my better judgement I agreed to broker peace between you violent freaks once again. Israel you go first.
: I don't understand why I can't just kill them all, it would much simpler. But whatever, here's my list of demands
: Reeeeeee how dare you! Do you know who you're talking with?!
: Wtf bro?

Here is why:
A) Iran's GDP has continued to grow year on year and it is currently a healthy economy:
This means that the main rival of Israel in the middle east is a nation state that is growing in power year on year and will not over time become pro Israel or even neutral to Israel. It ensures that whenever Israel stops the current conflict, the next one will be worse with middle eastern organizations attacking Israel again in 10-20 years time.
B) Saudi Arabia cannot actively side with Israel even if it benefits them:
Saudi Arabia has stated it will not normalize relations with Israel until a Palestinian state is formed for the Palestinians. The current conflict has frozen the normalization of relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia and while Saudi Arabia continues to liberalize, that liberalization in no form guarantees Saudi Arabia getting along with Israel as a friend in the region. The populace of Saudi Arabia itself would likely turn against the monarchy if they ever made open gestures of goodwill towards Israel. This means Israel at best has neutral powers in the middle east, and at worst enemies, but never allies.
C) The Pro Palestine protests in the US are far larger than the Pro Israel protests
This would have been unheard of and unthinkable even 10 years ago. Based on the trends we see among the US populace, they have zero interest in supporting an Israeli regime in the middle east, and the support is by the political bureaucracy rather than the public which over time continues to grow more anti-middle east participation for the US. The current generation college kids being anti-Israel means the next generation of politicians will be anti-Israel. This puts a 20 year window for Israel after which the American elite will end up being anti-Israel, especially taking into account how heavy handed the institutions of the US have been against anti-Israel protestors to the point of making the US appear to not be a democracy even in name. Nobody who participated in the protests came out later thinking darn the Israeli's were actually right, but many people who were neutral probably came out thinking why the frick are we kissing Israeli butt this hard I don't want to support these guys.
D) As far as the average middle easterner is concerned Sinwar died as a Martyr:
For them the drone released footage of Sinwar shows a man fighting till his last breath in defiance against the Israeli occupation. For the Israeli's it shows a man dying a pathetic death. ( A pathetic death according to Israeli's is when it takes three tank hits, one MATADOR hit, a drone, and a sniper to kill a single man). The Israeli's made the mistake of thinking showing footage of the death of Sinwar would demotivate the average middle easterner but they do not understand the different cultural mindset of the middle east. There dying for a cause is something to be celebrated and considered heroic. Releasing the footage of the death of Sinwar struggling against the IDF till the last breath only guaranteed that the middle east will have more Sinwar's emerge in the years ahead.
E) The Isreali's keep shooting themselves in the foot with bad decisions:
13 years ago, Sinwar was am Israeli prisoner. They released him to the Palestinians along with 1026 other prisoners in exchange for a single Israeli soldier. Any person with common sense can tell you this was an r-slured decision. As nobody is worth releasing 1000 enemy combatants for. The Israeli's however go on to put such a premium on Israeli lives that they would release a 1000 potential threats for a single one of theirs even though those thousand threats could end up killing another 100 Israeli's down the line. Israel being Israel is pretty much guaranteed to make similar decisions again down the line. The downside of a superiority complex.
F) Israel has committed war crimes in their zeal to destroy HAMAS and other threats to Isreal:
The most visible of these is the destruction of medical facilities in Gaza making it impossible for any part of the Gazan population to seek medical treatment. This indisputably counts as a war crime. More than 11,000 children are also believed to have been killed in Gaza so far by more conservative estimates. Only in a mindset where an Israeli life is considered worth more than a middle east Muslim life can the attacks and the scale be justified in terms of how many civilian casualties have taken place. If you are not r-slurred, you might be able to comprehend why the middle eastern neighbors of Israel themselves may not consider this to be an equal exchange and carry on hating Israel for mass crimes against the Muslim populations of the middle east.
G) Israel doesn't understand that it is not the US:
Even the US invasion of Iraq after 9/11 may not have killed as many Iraqi's as the number of Gaza population so far killed by Israel since the beginning of this conflict. What Israel appears to be unable to comprehend of accept is that the US can get away with it because they are a continent away and even when they invade they do their best to limit their damage to the actual combatants and kills thousands of people in total across a decade instead of an year of constant shelling. Even by US we can do whatever we want war standards, this is a massacre being perpetrated by the Israeli's. A killing spree large enough in scale as to 100% guarantee that there will be further retaliation down the line no matter what the Israeli's do now.
Conclusion:
The Israeli's are behaving with the confidence of the US while attacking their enemies but they do not realize that the US only ever did that was because they were always safely a continent away. The US also was killing fewer people per year even during wartime standards and Israel continues to further lose global support over time. The pro-Palestine protests dwarf the pro-Israel protests in the US now and we can expect today's anti-Israel public in the US to be the anti-Israel politicians 20 years down the line. Israel is in time gong to end up stranded with zero support fighting off the entire middle east by itself. Sinwar's death made him a martyr to the average middle easterner and attacks would continue on Israel 10 or 15 years down the line even if Israel were to stop the conflict now. The very existence of Israel in the middle east creates a forever war and that will never change. A forever war and losing support consistently over time guarantees the state losing in the end. Factor in the Iran's economy is growing well right now and we can see that the attacks on Israel will only get worse in terms of capabilities over time.

The arguments jews and they supporters use are starting to pop up in /r/politics. For a good while this was palicuck territory, since /r/politics is full of commies, but as time went by and Kamala wasn't gaining any lead on Trump palestinian supporters were more and more downmarseyd. Still, until this week redditors were still trying to be apologetic about it, citing double party system, but muh Trump, Kamala will surely care after becoming president, and similar things. It was still a vaguely pro-Palestine sub. It still is really, but things might change
"I am voting for integrity, truth telling, kindness, justice, economic growth and stability, reproductive choice, diversity and equality, democracy, peace, and much more. I am voting for a better, and more beautiful, world for all. I am proudly voting for Kamala Harris."
Well said.
And yet she knows, that Kamala, along with Trump, is complicit with the perpetration of another ethnic cleansing.
But hey, the lesser evil right?
shh this subreddit denies the Gaza genocide
Because casing what's happening in gaza is a lot like calling a papercut a decapitation.
It's not a genocide by any means, it's a war. And by all standards it appears to have very good civilian to combatant ratio among those killed, which only serves to weaken the bullshit "genocide" claim.
go away hasbara freak
that's surprising, Harris has been very supportive of Israel bombing Lebanon
Hezbollah =/= Lebanon
Do you think everyone they killed was Hezbollah
Pretty much
Well that's just not true
Hezbollah are a proxy of Iran that bisected Lebanon and occupy its south. Unsurprisingly a lot of Lebanese folks and expats are not enamoured by this situation, or how openly Hezbollah operate in Beirut.
He's also more willing to stop Israel from killing innocent people than donald is.
The vast majority of Palestinian casualties being civilians says otherwise
You conflate "willing" with "able". You also ignore the fact, in every war, sometimes innocent people die; while that fact doesn't make it right, it also doesn't make it intentional.
I'm the son of (one) Holocaust survivor, and not only will I be voting enthusiastically for Harold
