It takes less than a second to close it.

I will agree that it can be annoying sometimes which is why I modded the adblock on one of my browsers to filter them out

And what fricking benefit does it give you? It's just a waste of time for no purpose at all. And blocking it with adblock or plugins isn't even reliable, like 5% of the time it puts sites into some dumb failstate where I have to disable adblock and reload

Even worse are sites that load, then after a delay the cookie popup comes up, you click it and then the fricking site reloads automatically :marseyrage: :marseytrollgun: :anarchy: :marseyraging:
