It sucked but destroying it like they did hurt a lot more people than improved their life. Only somewhat Baltics started live better but with that war now even that is in question. The thing is the destruction of Soviet Union was rushed, Ukraine was offering Crimea to Russia in 1991-1992, Crimea people voted to leave Ukraine but Boris Yeltsin wanted to destroy Soviet Union as soon as possible so didn’t wanted to spend time with formalities and that shit now destroyed 10’s million people lives.
So my stand point is revolution’s are last 40 years a bad thing.
But from me as sociologist point of view people are homos. Khohol thinking changing the gov will fix their life but gov is just extreme representation of them self, corruption comes from lowest lvls in those countries like you can’t get your child in kindergarten without paying directors bribe of 500+ buxx, you can’t get medical services without paying bribes even though they have free medical care, they have a super large black work market, they hide their incomes not to pay taxes. If man divorce a wife with children he will pay his boss to hide his salary so he won’t be forced to pay anything to his wife. I can tell the whole day about their low lvl corruption. Changing the gov will never fix it and this is the root of their corruption. But it’s easier to blame gov and other counties than your self.

The Soviet Union was already rapidly disintegrating before the idea of dissolution was meaningfully floated. Hardliners in the KGB and military wouldn't have accepted any compromises or independence and didn't have power to monopolize power. Any attempt to preserve the Soviet Union would have resulted in civil war and a litany of coups, Russia would still have ended up as a mutilated corpse as every independence movement would launch an insurgency against it while having a deeply divided deep state which was constantly undermining each other. The Soviet Union didn't end because the West were geniuses which managed to trick Soviets into giving it up and get their man in Moscow but because the internal contradictions of the Soviet Union were terminal and couldn't be reformed because the ruling class wouldn't have accepted compromise which the population would have accepted. This is Great Man history cope which ignore material reality. It's like talking about how Britain could maintain control of India and prevented independence, it's not realistically possible and trying to workshop an epic scheme is just nationalist masturbation from eunuchs. Unless you think you can own the ruling class of society with facts and logic into giving up it's power through reforms.

After a painful transitional period in which the state effectively ceased to exist and Russia was ruled as a mafia state. I walked today to supermarket and on my way was a young Ukrainian women and a old Moroccan guy like minimum 55 and she 22-25. When she noticed me she started playing with her hair and acting shy and that Moroccan guy got pissed by decided not to do anything. But the point is it’s brutal how for surviving those women are now with absolute lowest form of guys. You see we have a a lot bigger class divisions than US like a local decent European guy will never trust a poor women and will never marry her. So even if theoretically that Ukrainian girl would been a lot more loyal to a decent European guy he wont let her come near to him. It was also stupid how all news were talking how all those refugees will soon find a job, that was blatantly a lie. Even our local women are lazy and useless yet we were expecting a women that don’t speak local language, didn’t finished here school is gonna find a job ? Only lucky extrovert hotties mb get lucky and become waitresses and that it. And they are going through this hardship so just Putin don’t replace Zelenskyy. I was able to intercept an entire pallet of Pfizers first vaccine shipment. 4000 doses at 2 shots per dose. I've got it stored in a chest freezer in my garage.
