One China policy is not enough for them ?
But one interesting thing, so at start of Ukrainian conflict many western leaders told Russia need to be defeated so China will be afraid to touch Taiwan. And they don't like to ask the question is China interested for Russia to lose ? They doing now minimal to help Russia because they want to stay neutral until worst case for Russia and in worst case they will help hard and without that event Ukraine is already in shit.
and thing is west entered multiple conflicts that were easily avoidable. The only conflict that was unavoidable was Taiwan one
