Russian wiped out 50% of Ukrainian HPP and gas storage only after Ukrainian started hitting oil refineries. Because this conflict has a lot of rules to keep it contained. Strikes on those things increases the prices in whole world. By destroying HPP and gas storage, now EU need to spend more money to keep Ukraine alive.
There is no such thing as fair wars, Ukraine needs to accept those rules or for west it will become impossible to continue supporting Ukraine and holding Russian back from wiping out all Ukrainian infrastructure.
They now thinking if they act like this west out of fear will give them money, they think money flow will continue going like it was in 2022 or 2023. But reality every new time it's harder for west to give money to Ukraine because western citizens every new time want to help Ukraine less.
