They shot down one of their most advanced prototype drones, on purpose this time as they apparently lost control over it. Given their history, it's no surprise that anything remotely autonomous wants to defect.
It was probably the smartest thing they've done in this war though. US should've done the same when this happened
Sure, but it's still embarrassing that they lost control over it in the third year of their three day special operation No one is reading these news in good faith any longer

I know, I was just giving context because I think that's a more interesting (read: r-slurred) story. At least compared to the usual "let's pretend Russians and Ukrainians are different from one another!" we see everywhere.
Ukrainian aspirations consist of thinking that if they repeat that they're actually Europeans and more civilized than those Moskals enough times, then suddenly their overwhelming corruption inherent to their culture will suddenly dissipate and reveal a pristine Germany underneath. Beyond that, they take no steps to actually manifest their aspirations.
Yeah fair, I would like to see an unbiased analysis of Russia's decisions in this war, former commie countries are really good at managing with whatever shit they have, so it would be interesting to see what was caused by stupidity vs desperation.
I fully agree with slavs being the same I'm still surprised that ukros haven't acted like animals in Russia, maybe they can still be civilised But as long as they kill ruskies I will root for them for better or for worse

A part of Kursk oblast is occupied by the holhols. This is so far down the embarrasment totem pole I doubt it even registers.

It's about the aspirations not the current conditions.

The RQ-170 was accompanied by a manned fighter or even another UAV, much less a UCAV. Really wasn't an option.
