Vatniks tried to take back Kursk and failed miserably :marseylaughpoundfist:

As Dictator Trump's time is approaching both ukros and ziggers try to position themselves in the best way possible for the upcoming peace deal. This is the reason why Russia has been pushing so strongly in Ukraine in the past days, capture as much territory so you can keep it when the conflict freezes. But you can't freeze the conflict if khohols are all over Kursk. So what you do? You take your korean buddies and kick them out! Or not, because ruskies are incompetent :marseyshrug:

Ukro twitter is celebrating :marseyparty:

Is 200 really that much? If russia is trying to overwhelm them with manpower then it definitely doesn't sound like a major push

200 in the context of a modern war is pretty bad lol, we don't have grand battles anymore.

you gotta figure hundreds more were injured.

We don't? :marseyconfused:

It's more of large number of small scale skirmishes, day after day trying to push the line. At least that's the warfare Russia is capable of waging.

There are no more grand battles of hundreds of tanks and IFVs lining up along a frontline and making a grand push, because that concentraion would just get himars'd or drone'd.

Modern war is incredibly gay.

What kind of drones?

Couldn't those skirmishes be grouped together as individual battles?

Reality Ukrainian have bigger loses than Russian in Kursk. Look all the links he posted are extreme pro Ukrainian that never report any Ukrainian loses including cities like novohrodivka or ughledar

Ukraine bombed all the bridges that led to Kursk from deeper into Russia, so I guess 200 is the most people they already had in the area and could spare for this, or the only ones that managed to cross the river.

Frick if I know, last time I paid attention to Kursk they blowed up all the bridges and were hunting down all new pontoons, no idea what happened after. I assumed that's related to the small number of attacking russian soldiers :marseyshrug:

Ukraine lost in that direction where they blown up the bridge.

It's an older map but Ukrainian had good opportunity to capture that zone I marked since that river is very fast. They tried to use himars strategy but it's 2024 so they lost decent amount of himars to drones and lost in that direction

https://i.rdrama.net/images/1731519987791269.webp

As this Ukrainian map shows that Russian cleared that zone.

Ukraine loses 5x that many per day, every day, for the past many months. They keep saying they need 20k-30k new conscripts a month to keep up with attrition rates.

200 is bad, but they're only crowing about it because it's the worst day Russia has had for a longass time, vs. what ukraine sees every 9 hours.
