Am I the only one who thinks this would be a win for Ukraine? Looks like they keep 85% of their landmass and remain a sovereign nation. I don't see a realistic more favorable alternative.

At first they coped with Ukraine has big losses in Kursk because they are attacking.
But they haven't gained ground in Kursk since 15 August so they actually now defending with bigger loses

The brigade that was protecting it is 116 brigade one of the brigades that has those leopards 2a4 (2a6 and abrams pretty exclusively used by my faf brigade 47)

Zelenskyy could had easily fixed it by doing constitutional hearing and asking all the judges if he still legal, but I guess he is afraid.
So Trump main road bump will be make Zelenskyy legal or get rid of him.

I still think we should make this war go on for as long as possible to maximize Russian suffering but if we want to end it this is probably the best option for Ukraine without getting NATO involved.

As much as I would love to see NATO air power just melting aging communist junk to just end Commieboos forever, and 20 year old Army Rangers giving shout-outs to Zyn and Twitch thots on Livestream while they seize Russian airfields, I would also prefer to avoid WWIII and that one might be pushing it.

Even if Biden/harris had won they would had tried to stop it. There is no real damage to Russia, they have now more missiles than in 2021 and losing less tanks than they pump. So the goal now is to save Ukraine and don't let Russian capture all Ukrainian resources, problem is Russia knows it. I wrote before spring counteroffensive launched last year if Ukraine fails it they won't have any card against Russia

Russian got couple of millions Ukrainians as refugees.
And Russian mostly sent contractors fighting for those guys it's opportunity to steep up class.
Also in missile case it's easy, new missiles are always better. Like new Russian missiles have flares

That's interesting, I haven't paid much attention to Ukraine since the US elections picked up. Do you think if the war ends now Russia will be in a better or worse state than before the war?

I can't imagine it ending now tho.
But if all the sanctions are removed Russian will be better off.
Trump main goal is to break Russian/Chinese alliances. In long run this topic is way more important than Ukraine.
So Russia will be putt into position of choosing between west and China
