btw don't access VNCs (even if they're unsecured) unless you're r-slurred and want to potentially go to jail. A lot of these are honeypots

Is it illegal if you look and don't screw around with anything?

If you're just like entering the IP address/port # that you found through that site then I doubt anyone would try and prosecute you for it. It's arguably legal as long as you're not exploiting vulnerabilities/entering credentials to access it or otherwise clicking on buttons and shit within the interface.

With that being said, the U.S. laws are a little ambiguous and interpretation comes down to your intent when you are just visiting some IP or service you found through the use of a cybersecurity tool. What the sharty tards are doing is definitely illegal. What you're describing usually isn't interpreted as being illegal per US law.

The real tldr here is, if the feds care, have fun in Gitmo. The law has extra frick you if it involves

intentionally, without authorization to access any nonpublic computer of a department or agency of the United States, accesses such a computer of that department or agency that is exclusively for the use of the Government of the United States or, in the case of a computer not exclusively for such use, is used by or for the Government of the United States and such conduct affects that use by or for the Government of the United States;

For any computer owned by a pleb, intent becomes relevant, but Fedbait is a felony.
