This is a classic and really just peak Bale. I remember where I was for most of these goals, this one I was sitting on my neighbors porch bumming wifi with a pirate stream open on my moms shitty laptop. Bale did this so often that final season, the definition of a one man team.

No he was, at least at that time, usually class on the ball. He was averaging like two nutmegs a match for awhile there. I just think he miscontrolled the first touch, can't see him purposely going behind his body, but did well from then on to get a nice flick and the goal. Here's another from him, great touch. Can't remember if we won this one.

I don't think Maguire is captains material, you want your captain to be the rock, Mr. dependable, and he ain't that. I also can't wrap my head around Fred and McTominay being the starting midfielders of Manchester fricking United. After all the money they've spent the fact those two ever once started a premier league match together is insane. Eriksen was a quality buy, one of my favorite players at Spurs, he'll win you points this season alone. I don't know about 100 million pounds on this Antony guy from Ajax tbh, never seen him play, but at least your board see's they need reinforcements.
Eriksen should be taking every free kick by the way.
