I'm sitting here thinking “frick!”. He told me that he used a condom and that there's no chance he could be the father. But we all know that condoms aren't 100% effective. My son is only 15 and having a baby would ruin his education and college prospects. Honestly I'm pissed at this whole situation. He's going to have to take a DNA test along with 2 other boys in this situation.

Condoms, if used correctly, are 100% effective. If it "slipped off" during s*x or popped, it was not used correctly.

S*x is inherently risky: STDs, dying in childbirth, getting killed by a jealous ex.
Risk-taking people are much fetcher and not so uptight about making sure they put the condom all the way on, or keep it on the whole time, or make sure it never falls off inside you.

Copper IUDs are the ascended birth control method: greater than 99% effective, no hormonal side effects, utterly foolproof (don't have to remember shit).
