Someone who plays 10th edition Wokehammer 40k take a gander at my army list and critique it

2k Points, Dark Angels Inner Circle Task Force

  • Azrael [Warlord]

  • Terminator Ancient w/ Eye of the Unseen

  • Chaplain in Termie armor+Storm Shield w/ Deathwing Assault

  • Lieutenant with Combi-Weapon

Infantry

  • Deathwing Knights

  • 10 man block of Deathwing Terminators

  • 5 man block of Deathwing Terminators

  • 10 man block of Sternguard

Vehicles

  • Land Raider Crusader

  • Redemptor Dread

  • Stormraven Gunship

Comes in at an even 2k points. Super telegraphed about what I'm about to do aka alpha strike the piss out of you with my Stormraven with Azzy+Lieutenant+Sternguard+Redemptor, 10 man block of Termies+Chaplain w/ Deathwing Assault, and yeet that Land Raider with Ancient+Deathwing Knights with 1 unit of Termies sitting back and plinking with the Cyclone.

I kinda want to drop the Lieutenant for something, but I would have to drop Eye of the Unseen on my Ancient for maybe a Terminator Librarian (for the sustained hits) and either stick him with the 10man block or the Knights and move the Chaplain around to be with the other unit. This seems the fastest way to play as many games as I can in the least amount of time with basically a coin-flip win chance with the least mental load.

A few ideas. Im not sure on some of these things because i player the cooler (chaos) space marines.

1. You have extreme toughness with your terms, but it might be easy for an enemy to just avoid touching them. personally, as your opponent :soywarhammer: :soywarhammer: :soywarhammer:, I would solve this by just killing the five man (not an insignificant amount of effort) and taking as much of the board away as possible.

2. You can solve the previously mentioned thing by getting some more midgame mobility. Treat your terminators as the anchor your damage units can rely on. grab some advance an shoot/charge units, some small deepstrike damage stuff, and some light pressure pieces like normie intercessors.

3. Overall really cool list, I think DA might be my other favorite loyalists besides the blueberries.

The 5-man is supposed to sit back on the home objective, originally in previous editions it would have a Cyclone and stormshields+thunderhammer unit making it godawfully annoying to remove (but GW decided to frick the DAngles in the butt this edition) and the 10-man block theoretically should hold the middle objectives because theres enough more important bullshit the opponent needs to deal with first.

I was thinking of adding some Jump Intercessors or some flavor of Phobos and swapping out the Redemptor for angry melee Dreadnought but I kinda like the thematic all veteran 1st Company thing I've got going despite its issues.
