Now we know the main reason that Age of Sigmar is dull is that it's just chunks of the old Warhammer Fantasy floating in a giant kaleidoscope. My Idea is that the Old World wasn't even the tenth or twentieth world to get chopped up and poured iin. Chaos has devoured thousands of worlds. I want those worlds to be other failed or obscure tabletop gamelines suitably warped, twisted, elevated, mutated, and evolved.

Aarklash from confrontion by rackham games
Aarklash was a war-torn world and put up an impressive struggle against the forces of chaos, but was still ground down in the end.
The Akkylannie Avengers of Marin are a crusading fanatical knighthood based out of city of New Grifdin on the fields of fire. Each knight wields a sword or a gun and carries on his back a coffin in mourning for the death of their god against the false gods of chaos. They are seeking out artifacts of their world, exotic spices to prepare and enhance their religious rituals, alchemical knowledge, and weapons to help them. They await the resurruction of their god but the central division is between those who think he will return to them reborn as a human and those who believe they must seek out his remains and revive him personally. They are tolerant of other non-human races, for all are warmed by fire, but despise undead and demons. Spirits of fire are seen as the children of mirin gone astray and need gentle correction to assume the correct path. Steam engines are sacred to them and often seen on the battlefied. Their armor is often mocked by their human, dwarfen, and elven allies for being overly pointy.
