"ur not ugly but i still clock you" --patsy

i sent a pic of my face to @Patsy bc he offered to rateme, he said that he clocked me, but importantly i wasn't ugly. i found this kind of strange bc i've always associated male attributes on women with being ugly, they're always the stereotype of women who are so ugly that they look like men. (also the pic was super anglefrauded and whatever, i feel like i look worse irl)

i started to think about it more and people are usually nice to me, even though im trans. no one's ever harassed me or anything, in fact they've always been super helpful and accepting. im thinking that it may be "pretty trans privilege", i dont want to say "pretty privilege" bc i obv don't meet the standards imposed by female beauty bc i dont pass. but among trans ppl, im prettier than avg. if i was a balding 200-lb whatever i think things might be a bit different in the way that others see me. im also super reserved and super vanilla, all of my clothes are very modest and i can count on one hand the number of times that ive worn something which showed my shoulders this past year, and i haven't ever worn a skirt outside, asides from (very modest) dresses (i cannot force wear a suit).

idk felt like sharing. anyone else would like to share? do u think that passing/attractiveness is linked/one in the same, or are they different? is it tru that u can be pretty (as a woman) without passing?

Absolutely, pretty fellas exist all the time. One that identifies as a Bella is marginally different.

Most people don't want to feel like they contributed to your eventual suicide so they walk on eggshells
