i went to a trans meetup thing irl with my parents to try and ease them into it. (basically all the parents went to one room to ask questions and stuff and we hung out while they did that).
it was interesting, there was one youngshit ultragigapassiod there who i couldn't believe was trans (she mostly kept to herself), and then there was also this one really creepy balding trans "girl" (like 18-19yo?) who wouldn't shut up about s*x and was showing off their amazon purchase. i avoid those kinds of things because (1) i dont like being trans and (2) i dont want to be branded as trans and (3) some trans ppl give me the ick
