The video game No Man's Sky did an update and lots of people are seething about it including 1. Carp and 2. me. They nerfed your guy and your ship so neither can get as many upgrades to be as fast or as easy to use. It's incredibly lame. What is there to try hard in No Mans Sky anyway?
I played that game for around 60 hrs because my friend wanted to play during the lockdown but the most interesting and the only dangerous activity you can do is collecting a bunch of expensive crystal during some nuclear acidic storm with bare minimum protection.
Even that gets trivial after you get some robot like those burgers were using in Avatar

Its only 20 bucks and the modding community has put it on their backs TREMENDOUSLY in terms of offering you engaging content that isnt just all fricking end game.
Highly recommend it. Very fun solo or with friends. Servers are easy to find too.

Yeah there's player hosting and then there's rented ones. You choose a server, create a login name and a password; then you join and can create your person from there. Depending on the server there are normally 4 spawn points; i recommend rosewood as it has the prison complex nearby for an easy start on some really good guns and gear.
Protip for later if you want to poop your pants you can enable sprinter zombies within the settings and go nuts they are challenging but fun as frick.
Also get a digital watch asap. It helps you keep track of in game time and date as there are rotating seasons and it gets cold as frick in kentucky.
And play the tutorial. Dont worry. You will die lol.
