Why is the chongqing map in hitman 3 so weird and awkward to get around

Anyone actually like that map? It looks good but theres areas they couldve just stuck more shortcuts into it feels tedious to get around

It's okay in Freelancer

Didn't care for it either, H3's maps peaked at the first one in my opinion.

Thats interesting because i always viewed Dubai and China as being very similar because theyre way too tall for me without size to back it up. So you do have a decent amount of routes but you end up getting a lot of redundancy

I think Dubai would be a map I really like if it had better Freelancer missions. The map reminds me a lot of Hokkaido but whenever you get a suspect there he's always chilling out in that big public area where you need to use a disguise or something to lure him out

Berlin and Mendoza were the best ones for me. I like maps you can live in and have lots of room to mess around in. I also like Dartmoor in Freelancer because I like the suit only challenge. Ambrose is alright but a bit tall again, but I like the amount of detail and snipig potential. For a free map it's great even if it shouldve been part of the base game

Why did u like Dubai the best?

I don't like a lot of the gimmicks they added in H3, Dubai has them, but they are very optional. I like the map aesthetically, and I enjoy all the routes.

I also never use sniper rifles unless there is a challenge tied to it.

I thought Berlin was ugly, I can't put my finger on why Mendoza didn't quite do it for me, maybe the lighting, or what I think is a lack of interesting locations.

Dartmoor feels claustrophobic even though it is large. China has the worst gimmicks as the main "attractions" on the map.

Of course, there is no real "reason", in the end none of the maps capture the feeling I got when I first got into the trilogy in H2. Miami and Hawks Bay were both maps that filled me with genuine joy when I played them, H1 maps and the rest of H2 were not bad either.

Berlin is very good but H2 is the best out of them all. I can understand they didnt just want to do a repeat of H2 and wanted to try new things but I just didnt like most of their gimmicks. Chongqing had such pretty streets and the actual content of the map is a rundown repetitive building and Hokkaido but worse
