Yeah it was the spiritual successor to the gauntlet style 4-player co-op games of the previous era. Actually beat that one with my buddies unlike some of the other gauntlet clones, very solid game IIRC but it has been like 20 years

It's a diablo-like game, reasonably well built, it's not going to be the best thing you ever play but you'll probably enjoy it

Frick yes, one of the best games from the Xbox/GC/PS2 generation. Put on some tunes and crawl the sewers and slay pissant rats and spiders and goblins for a few hrs while lootmaxxing.
