I think we can all agree the genre's long since peaked. What are the best ones? Ignoring anything Early Access, those don't count.

On that subject, I don't understand why everyone acted like Red Dead: Undead Nightmare was such a big deal. "Omg this is the gold standard for what DLC should be "
It's repetitive as heck. Go to town, kill zombies, get new weapon. Maybe 30 seconds of cutscene telling you to go to next town.
A handful of side fetch-quests.
Some fetch campy music and a couple horses from Skyrim's DLC.
An absolute BULLSHIT rockstar move with the challenges.
You're trying to unlock the outfit, one requirement: Catch the unicorn.
How do you find the unicorn? It spawns in a semi-random location after you kill the chupacabra.
Where's the chupacabra? That spawns in a completely random location and continuously moves across the map, and only spawns as the final Hunter challenge.
There is NOTHING indicating the unicorn/outfit is tied to the Hunter challenge. Like most of Rockstar bullshit, you just have to Google it. If you're trying to complete Outfits before Challenges, you're SOL.
As normie as Skyrim may be, the DLC actually adds significantly to the story

I loved it as a kid so I'm biased due to nostalgia.
