I haven't played LBP for ages, but this unironically sucks. This is the worst way to shut down servers; there's no final hurrah, trip down memory lane, or a chance to archive things, it just fumbled so they used it as an excuse to kill it.

It's probably some cost saving measure in light of the fact that they were just barely spared in the big Sony culling a month or two back.
