Horror game recommendations?

Playing alien isolation on my new OLED, played it before but it's one of my favourite horror games, any recommendations? Looking for something terrifying to play that I haven't already beaten

The original Outlast (the DLC is also good).

Then there  is SOMA which is very different :marseyvenn3: but avoid :marseynope: any spoilers before :marseyskellington: playing it. The only problem with SOMA is that you are forced to play as a Leaf.

Agreed on Outlast 1, though be warned, it's one of those running simulators where you are given no way to defend yourself and you have to run/hide the entire game. If that's not your thing then fair because I can't stand those either, but Outlast 1 was just so frickin' scary that I didn't care :marseyscream: The camera night vision gimmick is genius :marseybigbrain:

I thought the 1st Silent Hill was pretty spooky back in the day. I'd just got an old surround sound stereo with 2ft cabinet speakers in my 15x15 bedroom. Playing it baked at 3am was pretty immersive.

The original and The Bunker but that last one is a bit short. I liked A Machine :marseymini: for Pigs but a lot of other people didn't.

I recently played "Martha Is Dead" on the PS5 and rather enjoyed it, but it's a different horror feeling than Alien Isolation. "Amnesia" comes closest to that, maybe "Visage" too. The RE2 Remake first run is pretty terrifying after a certain point in the game (some may some more anxiety inducing than anything). "Outlast" is another one to recommend.

Oh and the "Alone In The Dark" remake wasn't too shabby either, Lovecraftian horror.

I eventually grew to hate Samuel after I heard him having s*x with my sister. I arrived at the house one day, my mother being at work, and heard the sounds of Samuel plunging his peepee into my sister's vagina through her closed room door, along with my sister's moans. I stood there and listened to it all. So my sister, who was four years younger than me, managed to lose her virginity before I did. It reminded me of how pathetic I was, that at the age of twenty-two, I was still a virgin. I hated her boyfriend as well. My sister said that he's been with other girls before her, and I'm sure he lost his virginity at a much younger age. It is such an injustice. The slob doesn't even have a car, and he is able to get girlfriends, while I drive a BMW and get no attention from any girls whatsoever.
