!dotards i lost four double downs in a row, one to a carry that destroyed his items and abandoned, two to carries who for some reason refuse to buy bkb, think they're invincible, and walk onto the high ground, dying immediately, then whining.

I did however also win the easiest game of my life, where a roaming mid PA+roaming Zeus and Oracle fricking destroyed all 3 lanes and prevented the enemy team from doing anything at all, offlaner and carry just watched and farmed, walked uphill, won game.

Also I'm slowly falling back into Dota Degen hours and it feels nice

I am on vacation in the US and I was insanely hype to play an ACTUAL REAL LIFE LEGIT STREET FIGHTER 3: THIRD STRIKE MACHINE(!!!)

I've been casually playing with a Burger friend (and with carbine/other dramatards ), so I met up with this buddy at a barcade and it was SO FUN

I also played an Initial D racing game with a friend, it had a stick shift and everything it was pretty cool

Beat Sword/Shield and traded for a few things on home to complete the dex. Incredibly gay they took GTS out of the game and defaulting to local network made me think the random trade thing was broken for a few days. I this is the first game I've actually got the shiny charm in due to suboptimal transfering and being lazy. Overall, the game is really dumb. They over corrected from the too many cutscenes in usum and this one's story is borderline non-existent. Having 2/3 the brits be indians is kinda funny, and your rival isn't as bad as everyone says but this feels like the most soulless entry yet. How the raid battles are structured, unlocking higher levels and max ivs as you progress really makes it optimal to switch out your team constantly rather than sticking with pokemon (you're better off upgrading to a 3-star raid orbeetle rather than the one you raised to the same level that you caught as the grub thing on route 1). At least in other games with similar mechanics to guarantee max ivs, you could do that when you would first catch them if you were crafty or over leveled enough. I feel like this improves the actual gameplay but you lose a connection to your team and end up as pretty much seeing them as just numbers. I actually really liked the wild area stuff though, and Dynamax Adventures is a lot of fun, so it isn't all bad. The post/endgame story is some of the dumbest shit though. The guide I was using to see which pokemon were catchable where had the post game antagonist villains names in it Swordward and Shieldbert and they were so bad I assumed it was a joke name for the two main dogs since their names are dumb in the other direction, being OC donutsteel quality. Also man, there's a lot of solid designs in this game, but there's a lot of really shitty ones. The change from water starters being bulky lads to being strangely effeminate men is the weirdest thing. Also I enjoyed how cartoonishly british the game was. Just kind of funny.

Not really an issue but this game, but with all the recent games, when you link the game to home, they just give you the three starters but with their hidden abilities. I have no idea why they don't just do this in the game. I swapped them into my game and man, they actually play in unique and interesting ways compared to “does more damage when low on health” x3. Doing the opposite would just be a flat improvement, I have no idea why they decide to continue doing it this way besides “omg he barely pulled through soooo cluuuutch” which would happen regardlessly.

Dishonored 1 is fricking hilarious, decapitating a guy with a crossbow before getting burnt to death by a guy spitting fire at you was amazing. Also getting hunted by magic assassins on rooftops is fun.

Just played through Planescape: Torment.

It's a pretty cool book. I actually thoroughly enjoyed it, play it if you want a cool interactive story with a weird setting.

I've been on a boomer PS1 era survival horror binge. Played both Signalis and Crow Country. Signalis is fantastic and while very charming, Crow Country is a little on the simple side... sort of like baby's first survival horror, although I still like it a lot.

Crusader Kings 3 Princes of Darkness mod. I'm Etrius' top guy! I assassinated Josef Zvi only for my own liege to come and take Prague for himself.

I finished cyberpunk recently and I thought it was pretty good. I don't have anything else to play now

Ghosts of Tsushima on PC through Steam. For some reason it didn't make me sign up for a PSN account. I'm not sure if one was just automatically generated based on my Steam ID on the backend but it's not like I had to log into PSN myself so I'm pretty happy about that. The game is alright but feels like babymode compared to Sekiro.

Pretty light week, spent way too much time trying to figure out why Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved (one of the best games evah) launches fine for me/most people on Windows 10 but won't on 11 and couldn't come up with anything.

New DLC (Nebraska) out for American Truck Simulator, so have that ready to go for when I find the time. Such a chill game. Get some booze/weed in ya, find a good truck driving playlist, and cruise the big open western highways under starry skies like Jesus intended.

I think I more or less wrapped up my PoE league with a dumb meme build worth about a mirror or so. Played a bit of BlazBlue Entropy Effect which is a pretty fun game. I'll probably try to climb ranked in with GBFV with Beatrix when she is released, but that probably won't last too long. It's starting to get nice outside now so I'll be playing less in general.

I went back to Vicky 3 this week. Still sad that they haven't gotten the next update out, cause the new ownership mechanics look pretty fun to play with. I'm a dipshit though and lost cause I'm always dogshit at managing diplomacy, in all the paradox games. Also have been playing Farlanders a turn based (?!) city builder, that's pretty intelligently constructed -- reminds me a lot of Against the Storm, though it's a much more linear game. Also picked up Curious Expedition, a unique take on the roguelike genre, and ToME, which departs from the typical roguelike formula in some unfortunate ways, though I barely got into it, so I can't judge it overly.

Modded Project Zomboid.

Named my guy Jim Cornette because the mental image of ol' Corny surviving the zombie apocalypse is really funny. Anyway I wanted to try out the "Fear The Sun" mod that makes zombies gather indoors during the day but the mod makes it so the zombies won't react to you at all when indoors so that got boring real quick and I had to start a new run.

Started another run with "The Darkness Is Coming" mod and that shit is lit. Prepping for Darkness events is a lot of fun and adds a nice spooky factor to the game.
