My problem with woljif is his shitty class tries to combine both Magic with rogues and does both poorly, and many of his limited feats are wasted on daggers, which mean putting him in the front of the action where he will get gibbed in one shot from late game enemies.
He also will have low BAB or base attack bonus, meaning his attacks will become weaker and weaker late game, as enemies have higher and higher AC (armour class) and he will seldom connect with his daggers to do his potential sneak attack damage which is what he is clearly designed after
Finally Woljif only has casting till level 6, which means he loses out on all the mega game changing spells from level 7-9 which makes all acrane casters just break the game in your favor - i just dont like arcane-caster combo classes.
I like Ulbrig on the other hand because his unique shifter class gives him a lot of attack and damage. There is a mythic feat called Master Shapeshifter
which gives him infinite and indefinite ability to retain his Griffin shape - which is his best part. At level 9 his Griffin shape gets an innate ability called pounce, which means you get your full attack when you charge at enemies, which normally gives you only one attack, and removes the time you waste when you close distance between enemies.
That's actually the first Mythic feat I got for him because it was class-specific so I'm glad to know I chose right lmao.
You've convinced me to take Ulbric. I was looking for an excuse to add another straight white male to my party because it's too diverse as it is, although I've liked Woljif so far because of his CC spells.

I'm playing it for the first time. Just finished the quest at Heaven's Edge.
Thinking of replacing Woljif with Ulbrig. Is he good?
