That not what you would expect. It started strong but began tapering early.
We will see if the weekend numbers go higher but I have doubts.

Despite what Grummz says these are okay numbers. They are not good so rightoids feel vindicated, but they aren't bad so leftoids feel vindicated.
The seethe is just not there

Honestly I expect this to do okay. Wokey games can do fine if the game is good. BG3 was extremely gay. Had super in your face gay relationships and it felt like you were always a single sus dialogue choice away from experiencing the fantastical world of gay s*x when hanging out with companions.

It was gay but not preachy, it didn't lecture you on how pronouns work

There's a world of difference between gay and zippertits.

True, although my brother and I were on the hunt for a single straight gnome by the end of the game. Felt like the gay stuff was massively over represented,

Yes, it really hit if you got into minor background characters. They were all gay.

You could be gay if you wanted but it was very not in your face. You could also be hella racist. Also, it was really fun to play.
This game doesn't look fun to play.

My 2 complaints on bg3 were autosave did not trigger enough and all the gay shit but still 10/10.
Veilguard smothers you in gay shit and the gameplay looks like a dumbed down diablo, an already very simple game.

The big one was that cleric chick and the demigod like halfway through the game. All the same s*x companions hit on you and a lot of the random NPCs end up being gay. But for in your face it was really just the cleric and demigod. (Plus the companions if you hung out with everyone like you would normally do in these types of games)

Only Gale, Wyll, and Halsin do that and that may have been a glitch(?), they also do it regardlessof your character's. Not even Atarion hits on you unprompted.
Most of the companions are implied to be straight, shart might be bi. Don't know where you're getting that.

I mean someone can correct me if i'm wrong but every companion will hit on your at some point and it's regardless of your s*x. You can have the relationship with almost every companion and it doesn't matter if you're male or female.
It's stupid and even for a fantasy setting completely unrealistic; however everything else about the game is so good nobody really cared that everyone was impossibly bi. Also there's no insane lectures about pronouns at any point in the game i'm aware of. Veilguard on the other hand took one of the few likeable companions from DA2 and gave her some incomprehensible vomit inducing dialog to preach to the player for a few minutes.

That's wrong. Shart, Karlach, Astarion do not hit on you unless you hit on them.
