I always wanted to play the OG silent hill games but the fighting mechanics always turned me off. The remake solved that issue. The shooting and melee felt more like the RE remakes.
Walking into the foggy town gives you an eerie feeling. When enemies are nearby your PS5 controller starts playing white noise, which when you are in a tight dark hallway can make you anxious.
I found myself being a little scared sometimes, kinda like being followed by Mr. X on my first playthrough of RE2 Remake.
The puzzles are entertaining and not too difficult.
The game has a sad story where you can kind of relate to the main character.
Overall, I would say I enjoyed this game more than Astro Bot and FF7 Rebirth. I don't expect it to get a GOTY nominations but this is my GOTY.
I give it 5 BOOMS! 
If you have a PS5 or game on the PC I recommend you pick it up

I agree! I did NOT want to get hyped at all because blueber shit lmao and the teasers showing reduced booba made me fear the worst...
But in the end, the og devs or whoever they brought back had enough influence to smack down whatever those cute twinks might have introduced
I give it a 4.5/5 (0.5 removed because it felt a bit too long in a couple spots)
