Over engineered, no one wanted the touch screen, no one wanted the back touch, no one wanted the tilt controls, it was just way too expensive for a bunch of shit no one wanted

But it was the memory cards that really killed it, double the price of microSD, speed was the same, reliability was dogshit

Hackers eventually figured out a microSD adapter for it, but that took like ten years and by then it was too late, Sony only gave this thing like a year of support before giving up on it

It got a few good games but they're mostly all ports of PS3 and PS4 stuff

Remote Play was pretty neat tho, you can even use that with your phone if you're a touchscreen poorcel

Contrast the 3DS which also started out with problems but Nintendo fixed them, Sony blamed mobiles for Vita failing but the 3DS printed money and now Nintendo's main console is also handheld

Yeah the proprietary cards were definitely THE turn off for me. Eat shit, sony.
