The Game Awards: Expansion packs, new game seasons, DLCs, remakes and remasters are eligible in all categories, if the jury deems the new creative and technical work to be worthy of a nominationhttps://t.co/boXNubjiBP pic.twitter.com/lkfBsNe15Y

Apparently Game Awards edited the FAQ section yesterday to say they are allowing DLC and Expansions to be eligible nominees.
This is an obvious coup to steal the GOTY award from Silent Hill 2 Remake (Geoff Keighley hates Konami, a wildly successful Pachinko and Slot Machine game dev company) or Astro Bot (Geoff is an avid Nintendo 3D platformer supremacist).
This is an affront to G*mers every where and we need to take a stand and show Geoff we are not pleased!

The Roads to Power DLC for Crusader Kings 3 was fantastic especially coming from Paradox: the DLC slop slingers. It doesn't deserve to win such a big award though

The jump to a random house member button for when you're bored winning was such a good idea

It should open up playing as theocracy. If you manage to manouver your character as pope. It dosent matter if he dies without heir. Just pick up another member of house.
You could use power of pope to strengthening house.

Modeling powers/gameplay of the pope is a lot of effort for marginal benefits in specific cases.

Theocracy has been requested feature since ck2. And as for now. Pope has barely any role. I except them to do religious leader expansion that opens up playing as Theocracy. Including as pope. And gives more powers if you play other religous leaders.

It's so fun especially when you have become so mighty and powerful that it's too easy to railroad everyone.

Ck3 devlopment has been strange. Ck2 started kinda slow. First few dlc were dogshit. Just pure shit. Republic was first good dlc. But oldgods was banger. Then they started to stirke it out to park with every dlc until horselords.
But from old gods came out 2 yesr and 3 months after ck2.
Road to power is first great dlc and it came out 4 years after ck3. Only good dlc before it was northen lords. And even now ck3 is lacking stuff that was available in ck2.

I agree with Roads to Power being the first legitimately great DLC. I keep telling noobs they would be in good shape to only get Roads to Power if they don't want to get all of the expansions because it is better than the rest combined. Hopefully republics are next on the list. That Venice merchant republic mod is really awesome and seems like such a no-brainer decision for Paradox to implement considering mechanics from Admin governments and missions from adventuring can be repurposed to great effect for a merchant government.
