IIRC, Sony would really, really really push for their games to have colossal budgets, where even devs complained that it'd be impossible to recoup their losses. Astrobot was the only exception, but that game's a walking advertisement so I guess they didn't feel the need to force a $500m+ budget on it.
If anything, expect the next FromSoft title to be 75% cutscenes, MCU dialogue, facescanned characters, 8 years of dev time, half a billion dollar budget, and to get the studio shuttered/cannibalized because it didn't make Elden Ring numbers in one week.
